Obama attracts only 2,800 to 4,000 people in Ohio

Romney, Ryan rally draws 30,000 people even in bad weather

A rally for President Obama in the democratic stronghold of Cleveland turned out to be a major disappointment. In 2008, Obama in the same city drew crowds of 80,000 people. This past weekend, only 2,800 attended an Obama rally near Columbus, and only 4,000 attended the Cleveland rally. In contrast, 30,000 people showed up in the cold and rain in Cincinnati to see GOP contender Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.

Some analysts wish to remind the electorate that Obama only won Ohio by 4.6 percent in 2008.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - In the same Cleveland venue, McCain was able to attract a bigger crowd in 2008 than Obama did over the weekend. In essence, Obama's attracting crowds smaller than John McCain did in 2008.

According to many polls, 30-40 percent of the American people have already voted. Hard counts comparing early voting in pro-Obama and pro-Romney counties show the GOP in much better shape than it was in 2008.

Many feel that the race is going to be close. In the waning days before the election on Tuesday, Romney took a final lap through Northeast Ohio, offering himself as a candidate who can deliver change faster than President Barack Obama.

"Talk is cheap," the Republican nominee said during an I-X Center rally. "But a record is real, and it's earned with real effort. Change is not measured in words you speak, change is measured in achievement.

"Four years ago, let's look at the promises the president made," Romney continued. "He promised to do so very much, but frankly he fell so very short."

On his lectern and behind him hung signs with the slogan "Real Change on Day One."
Warm-up acts included country musician Rodney Atkins and soul singer Sam Moore. Josh Mandel, the Republican state treasurer and U.S. Senate candidate, also spoke. Mandel, who is challenging incumbent Democrat Sherrod Brown, appeared with his wife, Ilana.

Romney said Obama, who entered office with an Electoral College landslide and expectations of post-partisanship, has failed to compromise. The hope is these loyalists will sing his praises to disengaged friends and neighbors who might have supported Obama in 2008.

"These last few months we've had a campaign that's gathered the strength of a movement," Romney said. "I've noticed that in the size of the crowds. This is pretty darn impressive."

Earlier in the day, in nearby Lakewood, Ohio, Vice President Joe Biden went on the attack against Romney at a rally at the high school.

Yes Rob, I see what you mean. I see Our need in building Deacon Keith's Tower as starting from within. Lay and Clergy. With the Love of Christ as our foundation. It is that, that we must build upon. CCD, holy books and Bible together. Building and teaching from within, then without. Because if we are not strong and united from within, we fail. Right now, we need to teach and understand in Love. The Stats prove that. Prayerful Blessings...

Judy, I really believe that we are putting too much hope in Ceasar effecting the social change we desire. And perhaps that is the message to us. Stop putting all your hope and focus on people who only seek power. Leave Ceasar to his work. You, the faithful get busy with yours. Jesus didn't come to overthrow the government but to change the hearts and minds of the people. There is absolutely nothing preventing us from continuing that work.

But if the response to this election is going to be more fighting, more name calling and more division, then things will only get worse. And it will be our fault. Time to re-evaluate our approach and move forward. When someone's heart is changed, only then will everything we are trying to say make sense. If they only see anger from a people who are supposed to be about love, then I don't believe they see Christ....only us. I must decrease and he must increase.

Vance, My thank you's also go to Obama Catholic's. Which means I Do Not Thank Them For Voting Against the Church,Pope Benedict, our Bishops, CCD, and the Body of Christ.
Not to mention, voting against The Church's Four Non-Negociables: Abortion=Murder; Embryonic Stem Cell Research=We need abortions to succeed in science? When did we ever need murder to succeed? The Church and Others do Natural Stem Cell Research which works quite well; The Family; and Marriage. How was this too difficult Obama Catholics? Vance, I do not understand. Catholics Could have made a difference. They did not. What does that say about Catholicism? What does that say about Catholic Conscience? Have Catholics now come to the conclusion that they have the right to dissent from Catholic teaching if their Conscience tells them so? Evidently that is what some think! And perhaps they believe that way, because our political Catholic leaders think that way! Our leaders receive communion. They may or may not get "talked to"...because if they do, it seems that it does not matter to them, one just doesn't care, at least, that is the message that they send. Because They still go on Breaking Church Laws and Teaching. Why? Because Nothing Happens to them. Therefore, Obama Catholics Justify voting the way they do. It is so sad Vance. The news said that if all Catholics voted R/R that they would have won. So, I think that this election was not only a "wake up call" to Rep. It is a "wake up call' to the Catholic Church. "Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Pray For Us".

Obama doesn't need large crowds just a large crowd committing voter fraud and a silent church leadership. Obama thanks all you Catholics who helped make it possible for a second time around to persecute the church and ruin the country.

Well, in spite of this article, Obama won! Now we have to Accept 4 more years. As most of you know, I was for the R/R ticket as a True Practicing Catholic. All the reasons and issues as to why, I have made mention of and need not go into them again. Now is not the time for Catholics or Christians to whine and complain. WE do not do that...or, are not suppose to. We must be better than that. We must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and continue to champion those bones of contention that we can.

Yes, Obama won. I can sight you all the reasons why he did, but of what consequence is it?

We still persevere for those Catholic/Christian values and issues we can. I hope, that because Romney gave him a run for his money, he will have learned from him. Listened to what the rest of the Nation desires. Perhaps his spirit will? That aside, we live True Catholicism in Truth and Love. Blessings my friends...

Regardless of who wins, I will continue to go to daily Mass, and pray for those who need prayer. Romney is not the great Messiah, but at least he has Morals and Values. If Obama is re-elected, then, we need to pray like never before, and keep believing the way we believe and keep practicing our faith with Faith, Hope and Charity.

And people wonder if the media have an agenda, they do....not supporting romney nor obama. but the facts on the ground like turn out says Romney is going to have a landslide victory.

So way do the polls show Obama tied??? Simple, the closer they put the two means more air time the sides will purchase for air time, news stories, etc etc etc...

Bottom line facts are people tied a person who has a great vision of change like having a bentley in everyone driveway, living in a 14 bedroom house that the govermnet just gives you. Ok Ok being a bit sarcastic, but the every day joe knows you can wish in one hand and deficate in the other and we all know which one will fill first.

Obama has pushed off most churches by mocking Jesus or blog writers spining church types against each other in the begining. Yet at the end of the day being Chatholic, Morman, Evangilist, etc etc etc, we all hold the common belief toward what Jesus goals and God the Father wants of us to live our lives with Godly Morals.

To tell us to roll over and vote for a party which continually strips God or Jesus or Isreal from its party goals while the Republican still honor many Moral and just foundations. Sorry but Party does not come before God, but the party which follows closer to God.

Wow... seriously? Do you have ZERO journalistic integrity? There were 4000 people estimated at the Romney rally in Cincinnati, and 15,500 estimated in the same city for Obama. This information is readily available at more reliable news sources... so don't insult us with your desperate lies. Catholic.org... have you ever heard about "Thou shall not bear false witness against your neighbor?" Look it up. It means DO NOT LIE.

13,500 people attended President Obama's rally in Cleveland! 25,000 attended his rally in Hollywood, FL. President Obama does not have a problem drawing a crowd, especially compared to Mitt Romney! Let's get real and stop being delusional.

It's sad to see a "religious" cite lie and slant the so-called "news" like this. And religious folks wonder why no one takes you seriously anymore and you've lost influence. Who need religion when religious people lie just like those in the world? Pitiful.
