Dems say they want free abortion on demand

Official party platform contains most divisive language yet on issue.

The mask came off last night at the Democratic national convention, although there was little question of what was behind it. The party released its official platform for 2012 saying it unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade. However it was a twist the party added to their platform that's raising eyebrows today.

Right now, they're winning.

Right now, they're winning.

CHARLOTTE, NC (Catholic Online) - "The Democratic Party strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman's right to make decisions regarding her pregnancy, including a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay."

The "regardless of ability to pay" suggests that the party intends to compel you to pay for abortions with your tax dollars, after all, abortion is big business and the mongers must be paid.

The Obama camp has repeatedly attempted, with some success, to compel everyone to pay for abortions, except for those receiving them. Churches, religious institutions, and even private firms and individuals, regardless of the faith that informs their conscience, must pay money towards an inherently evil and immoral activity.

In other words, the Democratic party, starting with Obama at its head, expects you to swallow their vision of morality and cooperate in what they feel is okay, despite the basic truth of a God they also claim to follow and Natural Law.

Fortunately, most Americans recognize that using taxpayer dollars to fund abortions is a gross violation of the First Amendment. A 2009 Quinnipac poll found that 72 percent of all voters opposed public funding of the procedure.

Unfortunately, these 72 percent are not driving the Democratic platform and apparently have no voice in the Obama administration.

"I'm pro-choice" Obama said when he was once asked if he supports abortion in all situations, including late-term.

If Americans reelect Obama, they can expect to see an expansion of practices that a whopping 72 percent of them agree are wrong. Americans will see less freedom of religion and conscience as the Democrats driving the country increasingly dictate what America's guiding moral principles will be.

In that case, tragically, Americans will be getting the government they deserve.

The Democratic Party used to be a great party that cared about the poor and social justice, and represented the average American person, regular folks. Many Catholic families chose this party in the 19th and early part of the 20th century because they had good values. But now the Democratic Party has become so corrupt that they have become unrecognizable. "This is not my father's party," said a woman who left the Democratic Party. Abortion on demand, forcing taxpayers to pay for things not only against their consciences, but also seriously offensive to God. And now they want to indoctrinate children into the gay agenda, allow gays to marry, and then force churches to allow gay people to marry and businesses to help with gay weddings or else face lawsuits and hatred (bullying, vandalism, defamation, name-calling, etc. from gay activists). This is not even close to what the founders of the party wanted or stood for. My great-grandmother, who was a devout Catholic, would always vote Democrat, but now I am sure she is rolling in her grave at all the corruption from her political party.

Now, they don't even help the poor. That's the sad part. Too many programs are being cut because of government debt and overspending. People lose their aid after a certain amount of time and then lose their childcare and have to leave their crappy job and start over. They are creating a cycle of government dependency, when they really need to focus on creating jobs with reasonable pay, pay people can live off of. It is better to give someone a good job than to just hand them money: "give a man a fish, feed him for a day; teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime."

Sadly, many still think that social issues should not be the main issues in this election... people were deriding Santorum and Huckabee for being out of touch with mainstream GOP leaning voters... Life and Freedom are the main issues in this election. Vote Democrat and you lose both life and freedom.

And the sad thing is, I know of TEACHERS in Catholic schools who make no secret of their intentions to vote for Obama and other Democrats with similar views. They really should go find another church and another job.

Is here any person who claims being a member democratic party that would defend my life if my mom, after getting pregnant, wanted to kill me so she would not have to love me? If you are such democratic party member, I beg you, fall on your knees, pray for them. Democrats are not enemies of Republicans. It is satan who is the enemy of Democrats and Republicans. If you are Catholic then remember this sequence - You are Catholic, then American, and only then Democrat or Republican.
