President Obama vows to win the election in Virginia

'We're going to put this country on the right track,' Obama says

In his latest round of re-election politicking, President Obama vowed to the voters of Virginia that not only was he going to win Virginia in the upcoming election -- but that he was going to win the election entirely. Drenched during a sudden downpour in Glen Allen, Virginia, Obama expressed confidence as he addressed a crowd packed with African-American supporters in an area widely perceived as  conservative.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - "We're going to win this election. We're going to win Virginia. Were going to put this country on the right track," Obama told the crowd.

The speech was Obama's fourth campaign stop during a two-day swing through Virginia, a crucial battleground state that Obama won in 2008 by 6 points over John McCain.

The Virginia media placed Obama's new ad in heavy rotation, portraying Mitt Romney as "the problem," not the solution. The ad pointed out his previous role as a venture capitalist that sent jobs overseas and a multi-millionaire establishing accounts off-shore to avoid paying taxes.

The ad make the case against Romney while he sings "America the Beautiful"-off-key-in the background.

Obama has battered Romney all week, as pressure is mounting on Romney to release his tax records. All Romney has released so far are his taxes for 2010 and estimated taxes for 2011.

Romney's records in the early 2000s that will prove to be more potentially damaging, as they cover details of his finances during and immediately after he stepped down from Bain Capital and put his accounts into a blind trust, which means he was no longer aware of how it was being managed.

In the process of creating blind trusts, Romney didn't think it would be a problem for him to have offshore accounts in the Cayman Islands, Bermuda and Switzerland, all notorious tax havens for the international super-rich.

Alabama Governor Robert Bentley, one of the most conservative governors in the country, called on Romney to release all the documents requested of him.

At the National Governors Association meeting in Williamsburg, Bentley said, "If you have things to hide, then maybe you're doing things wrong . I think you ought to be willing to release everything to the American people."

Obama, in his speech in Virginia made a reference to slavery, which drew cheers from the overwhelmingly black crowd.

"That's the promise that our parents and our grandparents and our great-grandparents made to future generations," Obama said after describing his version of the middle-class ethos. "You know, some of 'em came here as immigrants. Some came here, not wanting to come."

Mr. Barack Obama the president that divide his people. He is using race/color, rich/poor, slavery, etc. Talk about slavery-- abortion is even worse than slavery. His records speak for it. He did not support the "born alive law". I just cannot comprehend him talking about slavery and he is comfortable letting babies die if they survive abortion. That is double talk if not a lie.

The federal government exported jobs too. I think, some federal government contractors are from India and other countries. If Mr. Barack Obama worked for a big company before-- chances are he/that-company exported jobs too. There is nothing wrong with outsourcing. What is wrong is creating more unemployment during Obama's administration.

But wait, why are we discussion topics that he wants us to discuss? Let us talk about how much deficit spending he has done. How much poorer is America today (during his watch). He is making this country poorer with his policies. More food stamps, unemployment, taxes by the billion, deficit spending trillions of dollars and the worst thing-- taking away the rights of people to practice their religion-- forcing believer to pay for sterilization and abortions. I am very frustrated with him. That's right. America will be much poorer (in spirit and body) if he will be re-elected. He has to get out of the White House. Let us work hard to defeat him.

OUR grandparents? Did that windbag say OUR grandparents?! Look, half of your parents were white, Barry, and the other half was still African, Kenyan to be exact. You don't personally have anything in common with the descendants of slaves.

How about answering your critics instead of blaming everything on racism? You want to play your little fake victim card, pretend YOU descended from slaves, and dodge criticism by pretending it's about race? You're an idiot, and that's the nicest word I can use.

Wake up Virginians, don't let this phoney pander to you using lies.
