Documents prove secret Obama membership in far-left 'New Party'

Documents now prove Obama joined New Party socialist movement.

"Obama is a socialist" seems to be one of the mantras of the right, but while most mantras are grounded in ideology and wishful thinking, this one appears firmly rooted in the evidence. A report by Stanley Kurtz in an upcoming issue of the National Review shows that Obama not only has ties to a leftist-socialist party, but that he also tried to cover those ties in 2008 as he ran for election.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Kurtz, a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center explains in his article that Obama was an active member of the New Party, a socialist party with a platform described as "substantially to the left of the Democratic party."

Obama was involved with the party for some time beginning with his acceptance into the group in January of 1996. The party dissolved itself in the late 90's. The party's "central aim was to move the United States steadily closer to European Style social democracy," according to Kurtz.

The party also criticized mainstream Democrats, and called for revolution (albeit peaceful).

Of course, the scandal isn't simply that Obama once held (or still holds) views that are dramatically to the left of his own (present) party. It's that he actively tried to hide this affiliation while running for president, probably because most Americans would find themselves quite unwilling to vote for a self-proclaimed left-socialist.

As early as October of 2008, when news first broke into the mainstream media regarding Obama's checkered political past, his campaign managers moved swiftly to deny it. Kurtz explains that his allegations were dismissed as "a crackpot smear" against Obama. Managers publicly insisted that Obama had always been a member of only one party, the Democratic Party. They even put up a website dedicated to rebutting this fact.

"I rebutted this, but the debate was never taken up by the mainstream press" Kurtz lamented in his article.

Now the whole country could be lamenting that fact.

Kurtz is now sharing new evidence brought to light via the records of Illinois ACORN that show Obama was indeed a member of the New Party and his contrary statements are blatant lies told with a straight face directly to the American people.

Kurtz shared an excerpt from the New Party's Chicago chapter minutes, dated January 11, 1996. The excerpt reveals that Obama signed the New Party's "Candidate Contract," that he requested their endorsement, and actually became a member of the party, all while running for the State Senate.

This is not a situation where Obama could have misspoke, or people might not recall basic facts with accuracy. Attending a meeting, joining a political party and seeking their endorsement after signing their "contract" isn't something one normally forgets. And while Obama, his campaign managers and former associates might all suffer from collective amnesia, there is no defense for lying to the American people in an effort to win their votes.

Americans expect a certain amount of doublespeak from their politicos because that's how the campaign process works. It is understood that campaign speeches and promises ought to be taken with a grain of salt. However, a blatant, orchestrated lie bolstered by an entire website built to bury it is inexcusable.

And if Obama and his allies do in fact have some form of amnesia that prevents them from accurately recalling events from sixteen years ago, then perhaps that is another good reason to vote against them as well.

If one lies about himself and what he stands for in order to get votes by making people think he is other than he says he is, that is FRAUD. And yes, Obama can unilaterally change the U.S.... have you ever heard of EXECUTIVE ORDERS...? They of course are UNCONSTITUTIONAL, because the nation has been subverted and is no longer like it is supposed to be, with 3 branches of gov't. They are all intermingled and controlled by the same people--Laywers, constituting nobility; which violates the 13th amendment. The executive branch is supposed to administer the affairs and run the nation based upon the CONSTITUTION. Executive orders are establishing law. The Law is supposed to be established by the LEGISLATIVE branch. Executive orders are UNCONSTITUTIONAL and in violation of the separation of branches of government. The Supreme Court itself functions illegally when it rules against the clear intent of the Constitution, and whenever Judges establish rules, they are also in violation of the Constitution; the judges are the JUDICIAL branch, not the Legislative branch. They have no authority to make law. Further, whenever any member of congress votes to change the Constitution, or votes to do something unconstitutional, he has violated his oath of office and has committed treason. MOST ALL modern politicians are guilty of subversion, sedition, and High Treason. Your analysis is myopic and pollyannic. Congress does whatever Obama wants... they passed Obamacare without even reading it. That alone is treason. Congress has never demanded to see the evidence of whether he is even lawfully president. They are all his puppets. As far as the boogey man of the far right... it is a mirage... merely talk that evaporates as treason continues to bulldoze the nation.

To this article, I say so what? Who cares? Is it illegal that he was in this party? This is why we have three seperate branches of government. Some of you act as if Obama can unilaterally change the government, laws etc with absolutely no oversight. This guy can't even sneeze without an entire right wind media machine going after him. This is all just distractions to hide the fact that these guys have absolutely zero intention of doing anything tangible for us. They helped protect the wealth of the 1% on our backs and will continue to do so when they strip away medicare, medicaid and social security. Obama has not been a success story and that's for sure, but I think we know where he's headed and just how successful he is able to be. At what point are we going to start pinning down Romney on what exactly he plans to do? Are we really going to accept his statements to the effect that you'll find out when I'm president. As you comb through the records looking at Obama's past, why not spend some time on Romney's? Or does the right refuse to vet their guy just as the left refuses to vet theirs? Give me a break.

Is this the beginning of a whole new set of unearthing of facts, from Obama's closet? Will the birth certificate of Obama be the next issue?

When will people realize they're being tricked by a smart person. Even after having ruined the economy and society, it seems people still can't seem to get it!

If Obama were to win this election, i.e. a second term in office, then this will be the end of America as we know it today, period.

There is a saying, if you say a lie a good number of times, people will start believing it. The proof- the complete crap that we're fed by media about homosexuality, abortion and similar society-destroying, family-attacking vice.

If you would like to see Obama unseated - and he's surely vulnerable this November - it will take real leadership. It's not enough to blather about cutting the size of government, or getting tough with Iran, China, et. al., and it's especially not enough to accuse Obama of some evil plot.
On the other hand, if a GOP candidate stood before the American people and described how we will no longer pay for an over-funded military and under-funded educational and infrastructure systems, then I'd pay attention. Notice how I didn't say that we would knuckle under to our enemies - it just seems ridiculous that we pay for a Navy that includes 13 carrier battle groups, when no other country in the world has two, and that we neglect our poor and blame our educational issues on teachers.
Of course, we can all agree with one another that Obama is planning to destroy the country. We'll still be smug in our assurances next January, while he's at his second inaugural.

This is definitely no surprise to me. All you have to do is read his books. Read for yourself his own words. He tells you exactily who he is. I had this guy's number from the moment he started campaigning. All you had to do is know history and listen to his words. He was telling you then that he was a Marxist/Socialist. God bless.

Watch Obama and his body language as he speaks, and his choice of words. He's much more of a "Fascist" than a communist. He truely believes that he and he alone has all the answers and only he "knows" the right direction for the country to take.

Question: what is more disturbing, the deliberate covering up of the association or one's involvement in the association? Although both are dangerous to our country, I would say the cover up. Here is why. People of good faith make mistakes and then come to their senses, regret it, and make atonement for the mistake. That has not happened here. Nor should we hold our collective breath in hopes that it will. There follows yet another disturbing development from this. If someone that the American people gave their trust to lies about this, what else is in question? Author Andrew Klein in his recently released book Amateur says, "However, I have learned as a journalist that if you look long enough and hard enough and carefully enough, most truths are discoverable." It seems to me that what should be of equal concern to all of us is that the main stream media in all its forms let us down when it came to vetting the current president. It has fallen on the Sean Hannitys, Levins, Becks, Corsis, Limbaughs, Kleins and Kurtzs to mention just a few in finding out the truth.

This comes as no surprise.... We knew enough of the President's factual history to "see" what he meant when he said--even before he was elected--that he would "change," bring about the "transformation," of our country. The United States doesn't need to be "changed" or "transformed!" We just need a President who will adhere to, proclaim, promote, and support our Founding Principles in Government based on the timeless values of LIFE, LIBERTY, and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS." This President has grown our government way beyond all "limited" proportions and we are burdened with multiple and new regulations which are contrary to our most fundamental and sacred obligations "under God," first and foremost!. We must pray daily that he is not re-elected and a "God-fearing" man replaces him!

Obama wants to destroy us from left; Romney wants to destroy us from the right. The billionaire corporate power brokers are glad we citizens are consumed in fighting each others' ideas, right vs. left, Republican vs. Democrat, while they take away our wealth and power little by little. The US government no longer represents the people of America; it is controlled by the wealthy who pour money into the congressmen's coffers. Who will address poverty in America? Who will address our energy needs in a wise and prudent way? Who will help us fulfill the mandate to subdue the earth and have dominion over it? The powerful of the new world order will continue to desecrate and destroy God's creation in their unquenchable thirst for more riches, more power. Neither party will save us. We need a different way.
