Randall Terry: Why I am Running for President in the Democratic Primary

While I won't be the Democratic nominee for President, my candidacy serves an important role for unborn children, for pro-life Democrats, and possibly for the whole nation during the general election

The use of images of babies killed by abortion grips the heart of viewers, and drives the plight of the unborn to center stage in the political arena. Their broken bodies help create the social tension and crisis of conscience that are required fare on the journey to change the law. My campaign offers a vehicle for pro-life Democrats to send a message to President Obama that they are angry about his policies regarding the unborn, his unprecedented attack on Religious Liberty, and his bullying of private insurance carriers to provide drugs that kill human life in its earliest days.

WASHINGTON,DC (Catholic Online) - My campaign for President of the United States in the Democratic Primary against incumbent President Obama has caused rage in some corners, elation in others. These reactions are primarily due to my graphic TV commercials in which I show aborted babies. (See commercials at Randall Terry for President)

While I won't be the Democratic nominee for President, my candidacy serves an important role for unborn children, for pro-life Democrats, and possibly for the whole nation during the general election.

Because of FCC law for federal candidates, I can show the victims of abortion to millions of Americans on uncensored TV ads. Whether we like it or not, in virtually every major peaceful political revolution in the last 150 years, the protagonists used graphic images of victims to further their political agenda.

The civil rights movement in America showed murdered African Americans; the anti-apartheid movement of South Africa showed victims of torture and murder; the anti-child labor movement showed horrific images of danger and death for children; those opposing the Vietnam War showed images of dead women and children in Vietnam; the abolitionists showed the scarred backs of slaves; those fighting anti-Semitism show the victims of the Holocaust.

In like manner, the use of images of babies killed by abortion grips the heart of viewers, and drives the plight of the unborn to center stage in the political arena. Their broken bodies help create the social tension and crisis of conscience that are required fare on the journey to change the law.

Next, my campaign offers a vehicle for pro-life Democrats to send a message to President Obama that they are angry about his policies regarding the unborn, his unprecedented attack on Religious Liberty, and his bullying of private insurance carriers to provide drugs that kill human life in its earliest days.

If I get 5% of the vote on March 6 in the Oklahoma primary (from whence I write), it sends a rebuke to Obama, and says there are a significant numbers of Democratic voters who put Life and Liberty ahead of Party loyalty. If I get 10%, it is a national news story. If I get 15% or more, I get delegates for the Democratic National Convention. Whichever number I get, it spells trouble for Obama with pro-life Democrat and Independent voters, especially Catholic and Evangelicals.

And finally, my campaign could cause Obama's defeat in November 2012. In 2008, many voters did not foresee how staunchly President Obama would promote abortion; no one could have predicted his tyrannical HHS regulations now being pushed on us all.

I can't belive my eye's. This is what I have been looking for. I've been a Democrat all my life but haven't voted with the party in the general election for several year's. This has been hidden in the media. I searched the internet, called the election board here where I live and serched the internet somemore to accually find out who's on the ballot. I was pleasently suprised to find this man who has some real common sense about the terrible things that are going on in politics right under our nose's. I will be heading to the polls now here in Oklahoma to vote for Randall Terry. I am just sick of the democratic party insisting if you don't jump on the band wagon to vote for all these immoral things (pro choice, gay marrage etc.etc.) that your not a good demacrat. I truely see all the crazy things going on in our country as the devils work. People should really bring God back into the equation of life. God Bless and save the United States of America. Peace

Well, at least here in California, a "woman's right to choose" is in the statement of belief (or whatever it's called) for the Democratic party. So California Democrats are by definition pro-choice (not pro-life). Honestly, both parties are corrupt and I refuse to join either of them.

I've always known that there were good people whom call themselves Democrats. We have had attacks on our rights before but when OUR President attacks the right to personal conscience and Religious belief, he has crossed the line. He knows this. It is deliberate and it is a sin against the Holy Spirit. It is an attempt to divide and conquer those whom still follow the Lord. Thank you Randall Terry for your movement that will result in a bi-partisian show of support for our Founders.

This goes on to show that all of Obama & the democrat social policies are in error. In 2008 he had the whole world fooled, almost & still does so today making people into zoombies, a bitter pill in Lincoln's foresight to a black President, to being a bad memory in the black Psyche as a whole into the future, but have consolation in the saying "He was half white", But the question is not black or white but Ethics & Morality & to the Will and purpose of GOD in his Word, Christ in whom are all the colors & so in the truth there is no differentiating between Color & Morality, even unto hiding in Darwinism, neither can the political gimmick of 1% & 99% be substantiated through these immoral leaning, even unnatural policies.
