Pro-Life Activist Randall Terry Declares Candidacy for the U.S. Presidency

Terry will challenge President Obama in Democratic Primaries

In talking about his platform that affirms life, marriage between a man and a woman only and human freedom, he indicated that he will run an "unashamedly theocentric campaign. The Constitution of the United States of America is a phenomenal document," he stated. "But it is not the primary document that was given to the human race to govern themselves. That would be the Ten Commandments and the Sermon On The Mount." Randall Terry will run as a Democrat.

WASHINGTON, DC (Catholic Online) - Standing outside of the Holocaust Museum in downtown Washington, DC, Randall Terry, pro-life activist and found of Operation Rescue, declared on Thursday his intention to run for the Democratic party nomination for President of the United States.

Framed by a sign at the entrance to the museum that stated "State of Deception - the Power of Nazi Propaganda" Terry was introduced by Rabbi Yehuda Levin, the founder and Rabbi of Congregation Mevakshei Hashem. He is also spokesperson for the Rabbinical Alliance of America and a member of the advisory committee of the organization Jews Against Anti-Christian Defamation.

While representing only himself at the announcement, Rabbi Levin stated, "I'm here as a religious Jew and a proud and grateful American to support the candidacy of pro-life and family values democrat Randall Terry for President of the United States.

"As one of millions of disenfranchised Catholics, Jews, Evangelicals and Muslims, we want to see the party that panders to deviancy and no choice permitted, pro-newborn babies executed - we want to see that party returned to decency and respect for life and family values."

Terry wasted no time in outlining his strategy for this primary campaign.

"We will run ads on the Super Bowl 2012 that show dead babies," he began, "the victims of abortion. We will, with the help of God, bring America face to face with the victims of Obama's policies. This campaign is about human rights, ladies and gentlemen.

"It will be first and foremost about the human rights of babies that are being brutally slaughtered and thrown in dumpsters and landfills. But it is also about the human rights of the slave labor force on Obama's plantation.

"We have a federal plantation - there's always work, there's always have a roof over your head as long as you'll be faithful to stay on the plantation. Well, there's a lot of slave laborers, myself included, that would like real freedom again.

"We will also focus on President Obama's foreign policy. We are literally, because of this government's oil policy with Saudi Arabia - we are funding terrorism all over the world.

"So every time we go to the gas pump in America, some of our money is being used to kill fellow Americans or innocent men and women around the world. This is treachery of the highest order.

"We'll focus on our trade relations with China. I almost thought it was a comedy skit to hear President Obama talk about human rights in China - the President Obama that authorized money to go to International Planned Parenthood who is helping to fund China's forced abortion program. Was this some kind of a cruel joke?"

Terry went on to say that "the temptation to give money to his campaign is going to prove too great to resist for Tea Partiers and Pro-life activists because, in a Democratic primary, I can pummel Obama's policies and show him to be the arch-promoter of child-killing in the western hemisphere."

While he openly acknowledges that defeating the incumbent in the primaries is a "long shot, he expressed confidence that his candidacy will help to define the political debate for years to come by just one ad on the Super Bowl.

Terry told the crowd of supporters and media that he did have one goal - defeating President Obama in the Iowa primary, where anyone can become a "democrat for a day" and participate in the partisan caucuses simply by showing up.

In talking about his platform that affirms life, marriage between a man and a woman only and human freedom, he indicated that he will run an "unashamedly theocentric campaign."

"The Constitution of the United States of America is a phenomenal document," he stated. "But it is not the primary document that was given to the human race to govern themselves. That would be the Ten Commandments and the Sermon On The Mount."

When asked about running as a Democrat, Terry responded that the President is the primary focal point for voter rage across the country. While there may be differences with leading Republicans for the nomination, he said his quarrel is not there.

He stated that he wanted to use the primary to focus specifically on the incumbent and help return grass roots values to a party that traditionally was known as being for the little guy - which should include babies.

In the coming days, Terry volunteers will be sending millions of emails across the country to begin raising funds. They will also be distributing 55,000 fund raising envelopes at pro-life events taking place in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia on the 38th anniversary of Roe versus Wade.

Beginning in February, the campaign will take to the road as Terry travels to New York with Rabbi Levin and begins his visits to Iowa and the Midwest. New Hampshire, Florida and North Carolina are also places he intends to visit.

In asking him about being seen as a one-issue candidate, he made it clear that while the issues of life from conception to natural death are critically important, the campaign will address a full spectrum of issues. "I'm very serious about this campaign," he stated, "and recognize that we have a lot in front of us in the coming months."

Hats off to Randall Terry. God love em, God Bless him and God Bless America. Randall will be an incredible act to follow....roll over Obama and look toward your future with fear and trembling and work out your salvation the same way. I'm shocked and delighted that my dear and true blue friend Randall is running and will give the dirty corrupt evil PP a run for their money. As a pro life speaker, supporter and promoter I will see to it that I spend every chance I can to promote and declare RAndall for President. He's a native born American and can prove it, he's fought for the freedom of babies and is their HERO. He is mine and has been since I joined him in Atlanta in '88 fighting Tiller the Killler and joining up with HIS Operation Rescue movement that he founded and ran for years until PP stole his freedom and his life away temporarily. God will not go unheard with Randall for President. I will promote him throughout IOwa at the caucus as well. Joining his TEAM TODAY AND encouraging my friends and co horts to do the SAME.

Amen, vance. We need Randall Terry to force America to see the millions of unborn babies they have killed. Then they will wake up and face the ugly truth about the horror of the gleeful support and Americans' taxpayers money Obama is giving to the Merchants of Death, Planned Parenthood. And remember, Obama is spreading this horrendous evil in other countries where America has a stranglehold. The time is now to expose this High Priest of Satan for what he is and get America to kick him out of White House

God Bless Randall Terry. Go RANDALL!!! Grimes and Nebraska, you two left-wingers probably enjoy your Hollywood Liberal Establishment Gorey Movies. You guys should certainly enjoy seeing dead babies during Half-Time. These dead babies are those you guys say are not HUMAN. Now tell me guys, Isn't this what the "PLANTATION OWNERS" once said about African Slaves? Does this mean you guys are racists??

Not a person of color, but I frequently use the term "slave labor" in reference to the established system. The poor are kept poor to serve as an example to the middle class. The middle class needs the poor to be held up as a warning: "if you don't keep working for 'just enough', you'll end up like 'those people'. The middle class slogs on, working for 'just enough', paying the majority of the taxes, reaping the least of the benefits from those "forced donations". They keep the wealthy, wealthy. Why? Because they're frightened into believing that if they don't, they will end up in a worse condition! The established heirarchy would like nothing better than for us to bicker over race. If we're bickering over race, we're not watching "them". We need to unite. Now is not the time to be pulling out the race card! It's not about race, it's about "class". It's about those in power stealing from those with no power. We're no longer a democracy, not that we ever were a pure democracy. We're also no longer a capitalist society. We've lost our moral compass and are slowly turning into the biggest bunch of whiney, sniveling cowards in the world!!! Stop arguing with each other and start addressing the issues!! Mr. Terry is correct! We're all, unless independently wealthy (and I use that term lightly) enslaved! And, President O'Bama whimped out!!! I was so inspired by him, and then he cowed down to political pressure also. Think you're free? Try "not" paying your taxes!!

Again, John from Nebraska hits the proverbial nail square on the head with his comments about this non-starter in the race for president. Others here miss the point: It is not really important in politics whether Terry meant his statements to be racist, but that they could and would be taken that way by many listeners. Of course, Terry is a hot-head and really doesn't have to watch his tongue much since he is not serious about winning any election. But one has to wonder once again why pro-life people who DO want their principles enshrined in law are bothering with yet another total loser like Terry? Why waste time, money, and effort on someone who hasn't the least chance of doing anything beyond delivering a few controversial speeches?

Randall Terry sees reality from the perspective of reality and not political correctness. Keeping the images concealed keeps reality out of people's comfort zone - precisely what politcally correct Americans like (supposed Christian ones too!) Rhetoric is necessary to at least attempt to wake up the deaf, dumb and blind - even if it is aimed at a president! Strong speech is essential! Read the prophets who challenged the kings of their days! Read Jesus Christ! No pro-abort is ever going to "accept Jesus" until they repent and there's no repentance until there is recognition of sin! So I say onward Randall!!! proclaim the message in season and out, whether convenient or inconvenient! The light shines on in the darkness!

So Mr Randall can play the race card by using terms like "plantation" and "slaves" while criticizing President Obama (an African American), I point out that these terms are inappropriate and yes- "racist", and suddenly I am the racist? No No No. I didn't make the comments, Mr Randall did. Ergo, Mr Randall is the one making racist remarks. And while you Alex are not "consciously aware" of color, have you considered that maybe African Americans might have a different reaction to terms like "plantation" and "slaves" than you might have? Mr Randall is not an idiot. His references to "plantations" and "slaves" are not accidental. They were deliberately chosen. I stand by my observations.

Oh for crying out loud John from Nebraska couldn't help but play the race card. Really, I thought people grew past that? I'm sorry John, but if you think his words are racist, maybe it's because you're a racist. You're so racist that words like plantation conjure up images of African American slaves and furthermore allow you to associate them with the President. THAT is incredibly racist. If you're non-racist reader, that thought wouldn't even cross your mind. Why? Because the color of somebody's skin does not matter. It isn't something I am consciously aware of when talking about people. I don't keep track of who is black white brown blue red or green. Of course I can see it, and of course I notice it, but isn't something that you allow to constantly be present in your mind unless you are yourself a racist. So please refrain from such bigoted remarks next time.

While showing aborted babies on TV may or may not be a good idea, the point is moot. There was such an outcry against Tim Tebow's ad last year that the subject of abortion is sure to be avoided this year. And pictures of grossly damaged fetuses has no chance of making it on to any network or cable television. Why is that? A CBS poll thats been taken yearly since 2003 indicates that only 18 to 25% of respondents believe that abortion should be "completely restricted". If those stats are even CLOSE to being correct, then any network takes a huge risk of alienating advertisers by airing such pictures. And advertising is the lifeblood of their business. Thus, despite the righteousness of Mr Randall's motives, TV economics will not permit him this avenue of protest.
