Cecile Richards and Planned Parenthood Attack U.S. Catholic Bishops for Defending Life

current approach to Health Care Reform, with tax dollars. She is upset that the Bishops of the Catholic Church have stood strongly on behalf of those whom Mother Teresa called the “poorest of the poor”, children in the womb. Those children, our first neighbors, are the ones which Planned Parenthood derives profits from, by helping to abort (kill) them.

Planned Parenthood is the leading institutional champion of a culture which has redefined “choice” to include killing young innocent human life and “freedom” to include the commission of unspeakable horrors against an entire class of people. In their 2007/2008 Annual Report they made a promise to their members “Planned Parenthood is the leading sexual and reproductive health care advocate and provider, with 93 years under our belt. And in the near future, we will play a unique role in helping to shape the health agenda for the new administration.”

At the end of her recent attack on the U.S. Bishops Ms. Richards concluded with these words “…We call upon Congress and the White House to continue to stand firmly on the side of women in health care reform. Women are needed to pass health care reform - and we are not going backwards and we are not going away”. I believe there are millions of women who find her presumptuous claim to be empowered to speak for them deeply offensive. That does not even include the millions of girl children in the womb who cannot be heard. It is time for all of those women to raise their voice in opposition to her anti-life message and her organization. It is also why we must oppose any effort to include the taking of the lives of children in the womb under any “Health Care Reform.”

I know its hard and I know we dont want to do it.

Lets pray for Cecile Richards conversion of heart.

I know its sounds simple and humble but the Lord likes that and He listens even more I think.

Say that Rosary and keep what I said in mind for most of the negativity in the world. Hope for change of heart.

Love in Christ brothers and sisters.

When it comes to health care reform, perhaps the bishops and all of us should push a proposal that bars racist, eugenicist organizations from participating. That would effectively leave out Planned Parenthood.

Jesus, Mary, I love you, save priestly souls, save souls!

Don't waste time. Pray this with much love as many times possible per day, as an act of love and reparation; and most especially to help counter this act of murder called abortion.

If there's one positive outcome from all this ugliness, it must be this: Trying times bring out the best in us..the Catholic in each and every one of us.

So do not worry. Instead, unite in prayer for our Lord needs us to look for Him in these dark times. May God bless us all!

Again, no suprises here as regards the Hope 'n Change Pres. That said, I assume Mark Skog wants Catholics to reach out to American Muslims. It seems all too clear that in the past decade, at the UN and elsewhere, "containing" America takes priority of place to the Culture of Life among the world's Muslims. I wish it were not so.

I agree Paul but until the Holy Spirit is prayed to and there is a conversion of hearts we have people with agendas.

This is what its all about.

Control of the populace by different means.

It is wrong and we have spoken out here so heaven is watching.

May our Blessed Mother protect and help us in these dark moments of life and death.

Its Life, Libery and the pursuit of happiness.

I hope our people wake up in time before its too late.

    Just a thought.
Is this a good opportunity for us Catholics to reach across the religious lines to our Muslim neighbors and fight the good fight together. Could we build on the friendship that has been initiated by our holy father and do some serious good for the world.

Abortion is an repugnant and murderous sacrifice to The Whore of Babylon who wants to continue with her whoring.

The women who is abused, is coerced into an abortion by these selfish immoral whoremongers.

There does not exist a monetary reason for terminating an unborn child in the womb unless it has already died of natural causes.
