Clinton kept off balance by Trump's hard rhetoric.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Hillary Clinton showed up to debate, but Donald Trump showed up to participate in Thunderdome. This is just how different their two strategies were in their second debate.

The pair did not shake hands when they came onstage.

The very first question pitched to Trump was concerning the comments he made about himself eleven years ago when he assumed he was in private. Unaware his microphone was live, Trump spoke about kissing and grabbing women without permission. He immediately dismissed this as "locker room talk," which many men will understand. He also apologized for his statements, saying those words no longer reflect who he is today. He clarified to the moderator, Anderson Cooper he has never touched a woman without permission.

Then Trump went on the offensive. Right away he pointed out that while he has said things that are unflattering, his opponent's husband, Bill Clinton, has actually been accused of multiple rapes. In fact, three of Bill Clinton's accusers sat in the front row during the debate. Those accusers joined Trump before the debate to remind America that Bill Clinton is an alleged rapist.

Trump continued his offensive throughout the debate. At one point, Clinton remarked it was a "good thing" Trump was not in charge of law and order in this country. Trump replied, "Because you'd be in jail." The crowd, despite a prohibition against cheering, erupted.

Later, Trump hammered Clinton on her 33,000 deleted emails, which she wiped out after they were subpoenaed by Congress. He then pledged to investigate and jail Hillary Clinton.

Trump pointed out several instances of perceived unfairness to the moderators, saying the debate was 1 vs. 3. He also paced the room, standing behind Clinton at times, which drew criticism.

Hillary Clinton was clearly being tested and the stress was evident on her face in her forced smile. She maintained her composure, she was kept off balance by the savage nature of Trump's attacks.

Details of a Clinton speech to Wall Street supporters were recently leaked. Those details revealed she boasted of her skills at hypocrisy, holding a public and private position on matters. She stammered though a bizarre explanation where she invoked Abraham Lincoln.

She also dodged and sidestepped questions entirely, something both candidates did at times.

Ultimately, Trump appeared the winner because he struck hard at Clinton, who was merely able to parry his attacks. Some of his attacks hit home, such as her decision to delete 33,000 emails, post subpoena and her 30 years of service in which she has done nothing to rectify the problems she now pledges to fix.

Trump was also able to explain why he has enjoyed a massive tax writeoff and blamed Hillary Clinton for permitting the loophole to remain. He added her own donors use the loophole too.

The candidates will meet for a final debate on October 19, in Las Vegas.
