Clinton is called out for calling Trump supporters 'Deplorable.

Hillary Clinton regrets the backlash she's received after declaring half of all Trump's supporters to be "deplorables." The episode demonstrates that even she is prone to gaffes, something she has criticized Donald Trump for previously.

LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - On Friday, Hillary Clinton said, "To just be grossly generalistic, you can put half of Trump supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables," Clinton said. "Right? Racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic, you name it."

It's obvious Clinton isn't paying attention to Donald Trump. Wanting to halt illegal immigration isn't racist or xenophobic. Wanting to uphold the traditional definition of marriage and to protect Christian religious freedom is neither sexist or homophobic. Using appropriate caution before inviting unscreened refugees from a terrorist hotbed isn't Islamaphobic. These are good sense policies which have been labeled "bad" by the Orwellian lie machine that is the Clinton campaign.

Clinton continued, doubling down on her dubious claim: "And unfortunately, there are people like that and he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people, now have 11 million. He tweets and retweets offensive, hateful, mean-spirited rhetoric."

She closed by labelling these people as "irredeemable," and saying this is "not America."

We call this "othering," and it's a common form of behavior. But usually, the others are outsiders. When the others you speak about are fellow insiders, dangerous things can result. Adolf Hitler otherized the Jews prior to his attempt to exterminate their race within the Third Reich.

While nobody is going to predict Clinton will be the next Hitler, she has certainly taken a page out of his playbook by offensively labeling at least a quarter of all Americans. And what crime have these people committed? They have concluded that Donald Trump, rather than Hillary Clinton is the better presidential candidate.

These people have committed no crimes, done no violence, stopped no traffic during rush hour. They have not rioted or fired on police. They have not forced Democrats to participate in church services, or pressed guns into their hands. They have not done any of the things that liberals routinely do to conservatives.

Hillary Clinton clearly has contempt for any Americans who do not immediately acquiesce to her demands. Her regret isn't saying what she did, it's dealing with the fallout. She has no respect for others or differences of view. Yet, you will hear her preach about "tolerance" when she attends events staged by the homosexual lobby.

Tolerance goes both ways. If you want us to tolerate your deviant choices, when you need to tolerate the rest of us and our faith and our choice of how to be as citizens. This includes respecting our votes and our voices.
