'How is it possible that the people of the great State of Colorado never got to vote in the Republican Primary? Great anger - totally unfair!'

Republican Senator Ted Cruz stole Colorado's 34 delegates without any citizen's votes, leaving Republican businessman Donald Trump furious.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Cruz stated 21 delegates turned to him following seven congressional assemblies and thirteen came in from the state convention on Saturday.

Though Cruz's win is entirely legal, it was still a first and led Trump to complain on Twitter.

Trump posted several tweets on Sunday reading, "How is it possible that the people of the great State of Colorado never got to vote in the Republican Primary? Great anger - totally unfair!"

In another tweet, Trump wrote, "The people of Colorado had their vote taken away from them by the phony politicians. Biggest story in politics. This will not be allowed!"

On Sunday, Trump tweeted "I win a state in votes and then get non-representative delegates because they are offered all sorts of goodies by Cruz [sic] campaign. Bad system!"

Following Sunday's Tweets, Trump continued to complain on "Fox & Friends" Monday morning.

Trump stated: "I've gotten millions ... of more votes than Cruz, and I've gotten hundreds of delegates more, and we keep fighting, fighting, fighting, and then you have a Colorado where they just get all of these delegates, and it's not [even] a system. There was no voting. I didn't go out there to make a speech or anything. There's no voting."

Trump took his rant a step further, saying Cruz's campaign offered delegates "trips - they offer them all sorts of things, and you're allowed to do that. I mean, you're allowed to offer trips, and you can buy all these votes. What kind of system is this? Now, I'm an outsider, and I came into the system and I'm winning the votes by millions of votes. But the system is rigged. It's crooked."

In Colorado, the rules require a state's delegates to support the candidate who wins the caucus vote. Colorado's GOP executive committee was not willing to leave such an important decision to possibly uninformed, bandwagon voters and therefore decided to leave the state's vote in the delegate's hands.

While Trump continued to complain about the decision, on Saturday Cruz simply stated, "This has been a remarkable year. I will say this, it hasn't been boring."
