'It's on the website!' Sibelius says over failed promise.

Kathleen Sebelius was put through the wringer on Wednesday when she publically failed to keep an earlier promise to provide Congress with a list of Obamacare plans that include abortion services.

WASHINGTON DC (Catholic Online) - Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius was sharply criticized on Wednesday after she failed to keep a pledge to provide Congress with a list of Obamacare plans that include abortion services.

During a previous hearing, Sebelius promised Rep. John Shimkus (R-IL) for a list of all approved Obamacare plans that cover abortion services. Sebelius did not have her promised list.

Instead of producing the list, Sebelius wavered, and began to propose getting one together.
"I think we can do that, sir. I know that is the plan, I will get that information to you," Sebelius responded.

Shimkus called Sebelius out: "Madam Secretary, you promised last time you were here that you would provide me a national list of those who cover and those who do not cover abortion and abortion services. We have yet to receive that list. Now, folks are shopping now, and I'll tell you, when we went through this last time, we received a call from my office from someone in the country who was pro-abortion, thanking me for the question because they want to know."

Shimkus pressed Sebelius into providing the promised list, "We need that list, madam Secretary. We need that list today!"

Sebelius suggested the representative and the public just look up each plan for themselves.

"Sir, every plan lists plan benefits." Sebelius deflected. "And the one plan benefit that they must list by law is abortion services. So, as a shopper goes on, I would highly recommend that they look in the plan benefits section, check for the coverage they're interested in."

Rep. Shimkus did not let up and engaged in a brief exchange with the Secretary. During a later exchange, Shimkus compared talking to Sebelius like talking to North Korea, alluding to the spin and inability to get the truth out of the secretary, and probably anybody out of the Obama administration for that matter.

Eventually, Frank Pallone (D-NJ) came to her defense and rebuked Shimkus for what he said were repeated interruptions of Sebelius's attempts to answer.

Ultimately, Republicans as well as many Americans are becoming frustrated with the lack of truth and clarity from the Obama administration. Obamacare is failing, allegedly by design, and the designated talking heads of the administration offer nothing but useless prattle.
