LOS ANGELES, CA (California Network) - Good for one Pokemon Go player who stopped a robbery thanks to the Second Amendment, which allows Americans to protect themselves.

A group of six Pokemon Go players in Las Vegas was playing the game in a park when they were approached by two robbers in a vehicle. The robbers brandished a firearm and demanded money and property from the players. They shot one of the players in the stomach.

One player, it is unclear if it was the victim or another player, was carrying a pistol because he could not carry a police officer, and he promptly stopped the crime. With a well-placed shot, one of the robbers was incapacitated for police who took both into custody.

None of the injuries are considered life-threatening. The two robbers will be charged.

Pokemon Go has become a viral sensation inspiring millions of people to gather in public places to play the game. On a few occasions, it appears criminals have targeted the players.

In this case, a CCW permit holder manged to fight back against a shooting criminal and halt a crime in progress. The right of the people to protect themselves is fundamental to freedom in our country.

Tens of millions of firearms are safely carried each day by law abiding citizens without incident.
