Evangelist Franklin Graham compares the situation to the banning of Japanese and German immigrants during WWII.

Too often does the news seem full of horrific ISIS-related incidents occurring in America; most recently being the shooting spree in Chattanooga, Tennesssee.

We ask you, humbly: don't scroll away.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - Franklin Graham, an Evangelist, expressed his sentiments over the shooting rampage that occurred in Chattanooga on July 16. The Evangelist proclaimed that America is "under attack by Muslims at home and abroad."

Graham proposed that America should "stop all immigration of Muslims to the U.S." until the terrorism and the dangers of its threats finally abates.

Taking to Facebook last Friday, Graham posted about the man behind the deadly shooting, 24-year-old Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez. Graham stated that the gunman who killed five U.S. service members was a "radical Muslim whose family was allowed to immigrate to this country from Kuwait."

"We are under attack by Muslims at home and abroad. We should stop all immigration of Muslims to the U.S. until this threat with Islam has been settled," explained Graham on his proposal to ban Muslim immigration. "Every Muslim that comes into this country has the potential to be radicalized - and they do their killing to honor their religion and Muhammad."

The Evangelist also noted that Japanese and Germans weren't allowed to immigrate to the U.S. during World War II, and further questioned why Muslims, at present, are allowed to do so, considering the ongoing dangers of terrorism.

Graham asked, "Do you agree?"

"Let your Congressman know that we've got to put a stop to this and close the flood gates. Pray for the men and women who serve this nation in uniform, that God would protect them," he said.

Graham previously made headlines for his public disapproval of the legalization of same-sex marriage and his demand for the Confederate flag to be "set aside" as part of American history.

The issue on banning Muslim immigration is a sensitive one with heavy emotion coming from both sides of the argument. While Graham's opinions are just that, opinions, it is important to hear all sides of the arguments. As Catholics, we welcome all of God's children, but when is it ok to say no more?
