MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - "We looked out the window and we saw flames coming out of the house. (It was) really hot. It felt like 150 degrees in there," said Jeremiah in an interview with the WESH, as cited in The Daily Mail.

Both of the boys were just happy they brought the two children, an 8-month old and a 1-year old, out of the burning house. Despite of the obvious lingering harm inflicted on both of them, the boys kept in mind they saved two lives, who may have sustained major injuries or had not survived if they did not choose to go inside.

Jeremiah added he is happy as long as everyone is okay.

In the WDTV report, they noted that Jeremiah took the infant while Isiah took the 1-year old and rushed them to the latter's house. Isiah revealed he's been dreaming of becoming a fireman ever since he was five.

"Amazing. Ten years old, to do that, you know, already - he's got a great future ahead of him," said Michael Francis, Isiah's uncle, in an interview with the local station.

Isiah explained they asked the children's father if the other children were still inside. But the man allegedly said there wasn't anyone left inside.

Police later found the other two children, 2 and 5 years of age, injured inside and took them to the hospital where they are now in critical but stable condition.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident, as well as the reason why the man didn't bring out the children when the fire started.
