MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - In the cell phone video, it is seen that the suspect was running after the three women. The woman who was recording the whole incident backs away and turns down a hall as she was very frightened by the guy covered in blood and what he may have done to them. The women's screams and cries can be heard as they tried to run away from the guy.

The suspect is then seen cornering Corrales' mother, while attempting to grab her niece.

By this time, all Corrales wanted to do was save herself, her mother, and her niece from the dangerous guy. She decided to take matters into her own hands by grabbing a folded chair and beating the guy with it.

Finally, help came and the City Hall employees threw the crazed guy to the ground until the police arrived. The man responsible for assaulting Corrales and her mother, and attempting to kidnap Corrales' two-year-old niece was identified as Reginald Peralta, 30, from Los Angeles, CA.

According to Corrales, Peralta just continued to smack them hard in the face with his bloody hands and rub it on them. Peralta was described by Corrales as someone looking like "a zombie."

She added that every time she watches the video, she cries, as she can't bear to hear the voices of her loved-ones being terrorized. She can't even believe that the incident actually happened, as it is a nightmare for them.

Based on an interview with the deputies, Peralta was actually hit in the head by a skateboarder, minutes before the assault happened. He was hit by the skateboarder because Peralta kicked the skateboarder's dog several times next to the City Hall.

It is still unknown whether Peralta was intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. He will be face court with  charges of animal cruelty, attempted kidnapping, and assault.
