China, Hell, and American Delusion: 'Praying for Abortion' is the Screeching of Demons

What shocks us about China is that they assault the mothers as well. They are brutal not just toward the babies, but the mothers, too. We prefer our brutality to be limited to the baby.

Pardon me if I don't have much faith in the American voters to stand up and prevent the full-blown emergence of a forced-abortion/one child policy like China's here in America. If it's cloaked in the desired political rhetoric and framed as a safeguard of "women's rights", then I think many people will swallow it gladly. We're already willing to kill our own children if they get in our way. From there to China is not such a giant leap.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Catholic Online) - When I read the horrifying news that yet another Chinese mother's child has been tortured and murdered in the womb at the hands of the evil regime there, I realized how closely my own country is trailing China. Oh no, we're not very far behind at all. If you think what happened to Lili Zeng could never, would never happen here, then you are a fool.

We currently live under the rule (it sure isn't governance) of a man who insists that American babies can be exterminated in the womb at any time, for any reason, without restriction, and has now added insult to injury by requiring every American taxpayer to fund the killing. By his edicts and mandates, Obama has forced on the American people an abortion directive that keeps rhythm with China, if not yet in line.

Obama has never hidden his devotion to abortion and his unwavering commitment to Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion mill. With a single-minded fixation, he has defended Planned Parenthood at every turn from efforts to stop the obscene flow of federal tax dollars into their bloody coffers. When an individual state and its voters decide, legally, to defund Planned Parenthood in their state, he goes after them with lawsuits to force them to fund his abortion pals. Now under Obamacare, he expects every taxpayer to pay for abortions as part of "women's healthcare."

He protects abortion above all else in this country. Who protects what he is not devoted to?

Yet, the American people elected this man not once, but twice. Which means that too many American voters are either abysmally ignorant or uninterested, or they are also pro-abortion like him.  Either way it's the perfect stew for creating an abortion state.

Most astonishing is the fact that Catholic voters supported Obama both times, to our eternal shame. The people who are most obligated to defend the sanctity of human life gave their stamp of approval to a man whose lasting American legacy will be his gushing love-affair with the abortion industry, the extermination of a record number of innocent babies, and an immoral contraception mandate that may shut down Catholic institutions and business all over the nation.

So pardon me if I don't have much faith in the American voters to stand up and prevent the full-blown emergence of a forced-abortion/one child policy like China's here in America. If it's cloaked in the desired political rhetoric and framed as a safeguard of "women's rights", then I think many people will swallow it gladly.

We're under the hypnotic spell that abortion is somehow a sacred "right" of women everywhere. We are beguiled by the notion of "reproductive freedom" and "choice" and we are utterly blind to the child in the womb. We don't even consider the child. All we care about is sex without consequences. All we want is sexual pleasure and individual convenience. Our freedom. Our rights. Our wants. Our plans. More sex!

We don't give a damn about the babies. Just kill 'em. Unwanted pests. Get rid of them. They're not human anyway.

We're already willing to kill our own children if they get in our way. From there to China is not such a giant leap.

Earlier this year, Obama reiterated his steadfast devotion to Planned Parenthood in a speech and ended with a heartfelt, "God bless you." Recently in Iowa, Democrat candidates stood with abortion activists at a rally and thanked God for abortion, asking His blessing so that abortion might increase. Gubernatorial candidates Jack Hatch and Tyler Olsen joined the activists at the state Capitol, and with heads bowed, they all prayed for "women who've been made afraid of their own power by their paternalistic religion."  (I wonder how God the Father took that...)

Their "prayer" went on to say,

We give thanks, oh Lord, for the doctors, both current and future, who provide quality abortion care."
We pray for increased financial support for low-income women to access contraception, abortion and childcare."

Today, we pray for women in developing nations, that they may know the power of self-determination. May they have access to employment, education, birth control and abortion.

Today we pray for the families who have chosen. May they know the blessing of choice.

You know what that sound is? It's the screeching of demons. That wretched prayer is so vile, so blasphemous, so deceptive, and it comes straight from hell. Only Satan can author such a "prayer" as to ask God, the Creator and Author of Life, to grant His blessing on the "choice" of killing the child in the womb, whom He created. It takes the deception of the devil to praise the slaughter of babies as "the power of self-determination" and "the blessing of choice."

Human voices are parroting the chant of hell. Only by celebrating abortion does a woman embrace her own power? Power to kill her own helpless child? That is evil, pure and simple. To profess that killing the child in the womb is a noble effort on behalf of women everywhere, and something that God smiles upon, is the epitome of depraved delusion.

No clear-thinking person with any heart can look themselves in the eye and say that tearing a tiny baby into pieces is noble. Or that literally sucking a child out of the womb with a vacuum is noble. Or that stabbing a baby in the heart or the head with lethal drugs is noble and good. Delusion is a must.

Only the blind and deluded will say that abortion is good for women; that it is freedom for women, or progress or equality. Don't bother them with the untold multitudes of wounded women who must live forever with the hidden pain, grief, regret, and sadness -- things they're not supposed to experience because abortion is so good for them. Because it was surely the right thing to do...

Don't mention the untold number of men who grieve secretly for the children they were never allowed to know.

It didn't take long at all for the story about Lili Zeng to generate a perfect example of how deluded and lost we are. In response to Deacon Keith Fournier's article detailing the Obama administration's role in our culture of death, one reader commented:

The fact that this article compares the horrible crimes against humanity to the abortion rights in the United States is disgusting. this author should be ashamed of himself for doing this. by diluting these horrible atrocities occurring in China with the abortion rights in the US he's making it harder to condemn these horrible crimes against humanity for the disgusting acts they are, as well as disfiguring the integrity of good people here in the US that have the right to dispel an unwanted pregnancy that, would otherwise, birth a child into this world in such a cruel way that would ruin it's life... despicable for you to compare an honest american mother's right to choose with the disgusting atrocities occurring in China. (emphasis mine)

Dispel an unwanted pregnancy... now there's a new one. "Dispel", the dictionary says, is "to alleviate; to cause to vanish." What an absolutely magical way of describing the intentional killing of a baby. How easy on the ears, and even easier on the conscience. The deluded conscience, that is.

It is a crime against humanity for the Chinese government to forcibly abort Lili Zeng's baby against her wishes, but here in America we are good people of integrity when we choose for ourselves to abort our babies.

Got that?

What happens in China are horrible atrocities, disgusting acts. (They absolutely are.) What happens here in America is the exercise of "rights" by honest mothers.

In both countries, the babies are killed. What shocks us about China is that they assault the mothers as well. They are brutal not just toward the babies, but the mothers, too. We prefer our brutality to be limited to the baby.

You know you're propping up a delusion when no one dares to speak of it honestly, in plain language. As that reader's comment demonstrates so well, we cloak our brutality in words that soothe our consciences and disguise the truth. It makes us feel noble to fight for "women's rights" and "reproductive justice." Nobody wants to be the guy who's fighting for "dismembering-the-helpless-baby rights."

Big, strong adult with weapons vs. innocent, tiny, defenseless baby does not equal justice. So we say, forget justice. Our delusion is much more to our liking.

Hey, look at that! You can see China from here.
