LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - For those who really like the look of classic license plates they can now purchase custom, vintage plates in either 1950's black-on-yellow, 1960's yellow-on-black or 1970's yellow-on-blue.

The plates cost $50 each, and the state is collecting the money via checks and money orders. For now they must be pre-ordered. The orders will not be filled until they have 7,500. The number must be reached before Jan 1, 2015, then they will be filled as quickly as possible.
