Everyone loves teaching their children the letters of the alphabet. The traditional "A is for apple" and "B is for ball" have covered the pages of alphabet books for decades.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - According to The Guardian, the Islamic State recently released a children's Arabic language app complete with images of rockets, tanks and bombs.

The app, called Huroof, was released to teach children the Arabic alphabet.

Huroof is currently available as an Android app and features mini games and a nasheed - an a capella Islamic song.

According to the Long War Journal, vocabulary words include specifically jihadist themes and terminology.

The disgusting app, which will no doubt brainwash the so-called "cubs of the caliphate" and may be one of many more applications aimed at indoctrinating the Middle East's youth.

The press release for the app included screenshots, a link to download it and stated the app "teaches the cubs the alphabet."

Huroof's publisher, Library of Zeal, quietly released the app on Telegram, an encrypted messaging service and file-sharing website.

Unfortunately, Huroof is not the first child's application ISIS has released. Telegram explained it has been forced to block over 78 Islamic State channels since the 2015 Paris attacks.
