LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - A mother recently lost her daughter in a missile strike of Aleppo, Syria.
The woman was recorded crying and mourning the loss of her young daughter, who is shown wrapped in a makeshift body bag reminiscent of a cloth bag of potatoes.
The film continues, showing the grieving woman slowly make her way down a street cluttered with cement blocks and rubble. She cries out and falls to her knees as men carry her daughter's body to the burial site.
She cried, "My daughter Bushra is gone, you broke my heart. I wish it was me not you."
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also reported a child and man were killed in the same air strike that took the young girl's life.
In the background, a member of the Syrian Civil Defense can be heard saying three others were killed and a mother and child remain missing.
Syria's Prime Minister Wael al-Halq announced Sunday his troops were going to conduct a major operation in Aleppo with help from the Russian air force.
Please pray for the innocents in the Middle East - that they survive the ongoing attacks and reach a place of safety. Pray that God protect them from the devastation occurring all around them and that the war comes to an end soon.
