'Give me my weapon': ISIS releases disturbing video featuring 'the cubs of the Caliphate' directly speaking to the camera

The young boys have never had a direct speaking role.

In what is believed to be the first time ever, ISIS has released a propaganda video featuring the "cubs," some as young as three, as the primary speakers.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The latest video, released from the terrorist group's official media wing in Iraq's Dijla aims at "championing child soldiers," according to Vocativ.

The new video titled, "The Cubs of Dijla," shows the children delivering monologues, reciting verses of the Quran, learning the Sharia law in a classroom and dressed in military garb training with rifles.

"Where are the martyrs? Where are the suicide attackers?" a young boy asks, urging Muslims and Arabs to stop talking and start acting, according to Vocativ. "Give me my weapon."

The featured boy then grabs a rifle that is, sadly, as long as his body; he is later shown shooting the gun.

This nine-and-a-half minutes long video marks the first time ISIS has shown their "cubs" speaking directly to the camera.

The video is suspected to be "part of the group's wider push to aggressively and systematically exploit children," as it follows other new videos featuring the young boys as terrorists. With each new video upping the ante just a little more, it is frightening to consider what the next "child solider" video will show.
