MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - The notorious terror group's expansion has recruited thousands of new foreign fighters who have made alliances with news jihadi organizations since the international "task force" to "eliminate" ISIS was created in October 2014.


It was reported that more than 42 countries have launched airstrikes against ISIS, trained troops and Middle-Eastern tribesman have given weapons to those battling the extremists.
 
However, despite this collective force against ISIS, the various groups have failed to fight and extinguish ISIS, because the different, conflicting plans. ISIS is composed of 31,000 loyal fighters; according to the U.S. Kurdish forces, the estimated count is almost 200,000. Around eight million people live and struggle under ISIS' cruelty.
 

Inspired by this, 60 countries formed the Global Coalition to Counter ISIS with the goal to actually exterminate the group. The U.S. and five of its Arab allies launched the intense operation of airstrikes against ISIS in 2014. Since then, the U.S. has been responsible for around 9,600 bombing incidences on Iraq and Syria. Other countries that carried out incursions on ISIS are Belgium, Canada, Australia, France, Jordan, the Netherlands, Denmark and Turkey.

Spain sent 300 troops on a training mission; they are running with Portugal in Baghdad.  Twenty-two million rounds of AK-47 bullets and 15,000 hand grenades have been delivered by Alabania to the Kurds, and New Zealand sent 100 military workforces to Iraq. The Czech Republic provided fighter jets and 500 tonnes of weapons to the country.

Hungary, Estonia, Greece and Bulgaria have guaranteed to provide weapons to opposition forces, and Norway vowed to lead 120 troops to Iraq. Lebanon, Algeria, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Oman, Morocco, Singapore, Poland and Russia are among other nations who pledged weapons or army personnel to ISIS opponents on the ground.
