Isabelle Prime was reportedly kidnapped in February.

A recently released public video shows a French woman begging her government and Yemeni authorities to help her and take her back home to France, after being abducted by unknown captors. Identified as Isabelle Prime, she was taken as a captive alongside her Yemeni translator, Shereen Makawi, in the big city of Sanaa back in February. Spokesperson for the French Foreign Ministry, Romain Nadal, confirmed that the video is authentic, as verified by the experts.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - Working as a consultant tied to World Bank, Prime made an appearance in the propaganda video pleading to French President Francois Hollande and Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Had to "please bring me to France fast because I am really really tired."

Yemen, the poorest nation in the Arab region, is believed to host one of the most dangerous and active units of the terrorist group Al Qaeda. There are also active cells of the Islamic State reportedly operating in the country, according to The Daily Mail.

Nadal said that the country is "mobilized to obtain the release" of Prime, while there is still no news about her condition after the release of the video. Authorities are attempting to make contacts with the unknown captors and it's reported that her translator companion, Makawi, has already been released.

Wearing a black robe, Prime is described as looking frail and anguished, as she makes her plea sitting in the desert. This video is her first appearance, which she was reportedly under extreme threat in making.

French officials are going to meet her family by tomorrow, according to Nadal. As of now, the country has been in a civil war where Shiite rebels, known as Houthis, are controlling Sanaa and other cities.
