LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - This graphic video, said to be filmed near Tikrit, Iraq, claims to show the Shia militia attacking the young boy under accusations of his involvement with ISIS.

Although the authentication of the video has not yet been identified, a coalition of 30,000 Iraqi Army soldiers and private Shia armies flooded the area earlier this week with plans to oust ISIS militants. However, many speculate this could be another propaganda video created by ISIS themselves, as it has been largely shared by pro-ISIS groups over social media.

Help stop the genocide of Christians in the Middle East

"Nevertheless the sheer brutality of the clip calls into question the policy of allowing local armed groups to lead the fightback against ISIS," explained Daily Mail. "It plays into the terrorist sympathizers' narrative that the Iran-back Shia militia attempting to oust ISIS from Tikrit are no better than the jihadis themselves."

The beginning of the video shows a group of heavily armed men circling a young boy. He is forced on his knees to be questioned.

"Did you not fire at us?"

"By God I did not fire one single bullet," cried out the boy.

The men are seen pleading to be allowed to execute the begging boy.

Only one soldier, wearing camouflage, bravely steps up to protect the boy, demanding that no one shoot. "What is wrong with you guys?" he asks, leading to an argument.

The desperate boy warns the men "God is watching." But seconds later, a fighter off screen, shoots his automatic weapon several times at the boy, striking him in the head and killing him instantly. The video ends with a close up on his dying face and exposed brains.

End the Persecution of Christians now

According to General Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, "about two-thirds of the force seeking to retake Tikrit is compromised of Iranian-based Shia milita fighters. Iraqi government troops make up the other third."

The United States was not asked to provide air support during the Tikrit offensive, according to U.S. Officials.
