LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The wail of air raid sirens is frightening in itself, and the sight of what could be at least a dozen Qassam terror rockets arcing towards Israel is intimidating. In the video, residents run for cover, afraid that one of the terror rockets could come down on them.

As the rockets pass overhead, a single pop, then a series of other explosions, in rapid succession reveal the startling effectiveness of the Iron Dome defense system, designed to intercept rockets in mid-flight.

Help Christians who face Islamic extremism.

Every single rocket in this attack was believed to have been flawlessly intercepted, saving countless lives on the ground.

Hamas and Israel have accepted another cease-fire, for now, but in the past several weeks, Hamas terrorists have been firing hundreds of terror rockets into Israel in the hopes of scoring a hit that would punish Israel for simply existing.

However, the Iron Dome system has protected the country, rendering the Qassam rockets virtually ineffective.
