LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - A single suicide bomber detonated an "improvised" device as the lights went up at the end of Grande's concert.

Horrified witnesses describe a loud noise, a white flash, smoke and nuts and bolts flying everywhere. "There was nuts and bolts flying everywhere, and also human flesh. It was just one bang and a white flash," stated Chris Parker to The Sun. "I treated a woman called Pauline. I've got blood on my hands. It was like a war zone inside where the box office is."

Actual footage from the scene shows thousands of the concertgoers fleeing and screaming in panic with blood covering their bodies and tears running down their faces.

"Everyone was screaming and running; there were coats and people's phones on the floor. People just dropped everything," expressed Robert Tempkin to the BBC.

Eight-year-old Saffie Rose Roussos and 18-year-old Georgina Callander have been named as two of the first victims.

"We struggle to comprehend the warped and twisted mind that sees a room packed with young children, not a scene to cherish but as an opportunity for carnage," explained British Prime Minister Theresa May, condemning the attack as "callous" and "cowardly" in an emergency Cabinet meeting.

Police have confirmed the attacker died in the arena after the explosive detonated, but they are concerned with whether he was acting alone or as part of a larger cell. Efforts have been launched to track his previous movements that may tie him with others.

According to reports, a 23-year-old man in connection with the bombing was arrested on Tuesday in South Manchester.

A cryptic tweet was posted on Twitter hours before the incident in what some are saying "predicted the attack." The tweet stated, "#ISLAMICSTATE #manchesterarena #UK #British Are you forget our threat? This is the just terror."

However, police have declined to comment on the posts.

"I'm still finding bits of God knows what in my hair. You never ever expect these things to happen to you, but this proves it can happen to anybody," stated witness Abby Mullen, noting she was just barely in front of the explosion. "That sound, the blood and those who were running around clueless with body parts and bits of skin missing will not be leaving my mind anytime soon or the minds of those involved."

Pop Star Ariana Grande was reported as unharmed from the explosion. She came forward in a tweet expressing, "Broken. From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don't have words."

President Donald Trump, currently overseas, came forward calling the attackers "losers," according to CNN.

"So many young beautiful innocent people living and enjoying their lives murdered by evil losers in life. I won't call them monsters because they would like that term. They would think that's a great name. I will call them from now on losers because that's what they are," he stated. "This wicked ideology must be obliterated."

The world must stand together as one against the evil. We must join hands and pray. Pray for an end to this horrific terror. Pray for the healing of all those forever affected by such an unimaginable tragedy. Pray for a better world for our children and loved ones to live. No one deserves this, especially not the innocent.

Save me, Lord, from evildoers;
    keep me safe from violent people.
They are always plotting evil,
    always stirring up quarrels.
Their tongues are like deadly snakes;
    their words are like a cobra's poison.
Protect me, Lord, from the power of the wicked;
    keep me safe from violent people
    who plot my downfall.
The proud have set a trap for me;
    they have laid their snares,
    and along the path they have set traps to catch me.
I say to the Lord, "You are my God."
    Hear my cry for help, Lord!
My Sovereign Lord, my strong defender,
    you have protected me in battle.
Lord, don't give the wicked what they want;
    don't let their plots succeed.
Don't let my enemies be victorious;[b]
    make their threats against me fall back on them.
May red-hot coals fall on them;
    may they be thrown into a pit and never get out.
May those who accuse others falsely not succeed;
    may evil overtake violent people and destroy them.
Lord, I know that you defend the cause of the poor
    and the rights of the needy.
The righteous will praise you indeed;
    they will live in your presence.
