MUNTINLUPA CITY, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - The teenager was brutally raped and had her eyes gouged out by her own sister during an exorcism ritual led by a Pastor in General Pinedo, Argentina. The girl was allegedly having visions of goats and that her family was demonic.

A 16-year-old is now fighting for her life after the brutal exorcism ritual. The men who raped her pinned her down while her own sister cut out her eyes with a knife. Her sister claimed the local pastor told them to do it and was even the one who handed them the knife.

The teenager's family believed everything was orchestrated and the local Pastor convinced the child and the rest of the people involved in the incident that the teen was indeed possessed by the devil. After the terrible ritual, the teenager was pinned down and her elder sister cut both of her eyes out.

The victim's elder sister claimed the religious center was the one who gave her the sharp knife used in the attack. The pastor even urged her to personally do the attack to cure her sister.

The horrific exorcism occurred in the town of General Pinedo, in the Northern part of the Argentinian province of Chaco. Police have included the elder sister of the victim in the arrest.

The elder sister continues to strongly hold onto her claim that the act would terrify the demon inside the teen's body and would drive it out in the process. Her sister is currently at the ICU of the Perrando de Resistencia hospital where she is being treated for her terrible injuries.

Doctors have reported that the victim has suffered from several injuries to her genital area. The group of men who participated in the ritual were also arrested with allegations of brutally raping the victim. Pablo Almiron, Police Commissioner in the General Pinedo said in a statement, "It is very difficult to explain that something like this could happen to a teenager."
