LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Most of these ceramic items are of huge cultural and archaeological value, and date to around 1400 BC. They had been smuggled out of the South American nation by a man who has links to drug gangs, the embassy in Madrid claimed.

You can be a light in the darkness with "prayer and action."

The artifacts were returned after a court order from Spain in June 2014, and the items are now in the possession of Colombian authorities who are taking them back to Bogota, the Colombian capital.

While the decade long legal battle proceeded the artifacts were placed in the Museum of America in Madrid. Some of these items, including ceramic sculptures, funeral urns and musical instruments were put on display.

The artifacts are expected to be put on display in an exhibit in Colombia in 2015, the Colombian foreign ministry reported.
