El Arzobispo de Lima y Primado del Perú, Cardenal Juan Luis Cipriani, firmó esta mañana un convenio con las asociaciones "Pietro Leonardi Onlus" y "Nati Per Lottare Onlus" que trabajan en colaboración con el club Parma FC de Italia para que los niños de la zona pobre de Manchay puedan tener una formación de calidad en la práctica del fútbol.

LIMA (ACI) - El convenio fue suscrito por el Cardenal Cipriani y Paolo Arcivieri, en representación de las asociaciones, quienes se comprometieron a iniciar una academia de fútbol en esta zona de Lima.

Durante la primera etapa del proyecto, las asociaciones que trabajan en colaboración con el Parma FC entregarán materiales deportivos para un equipo de fútbol de 30 niños pertenecientes al equipo de la Parroquia de Manchay.

Los materiales consisten en un kit completo de entrenamiento para cada uno; así como camisetas y pantalones, buzo, zapatillas, pelotas de fútbol, un kit médico y un desfibrilador.

En la segunda etapa se organizará la academia de futbol de la Parroquia de Manchay con la participación de un entrenador italiano que seguirá a los niños y jóvenes participantes del proyecto y formará entrenadores y preparadores físicos para la academia de Manchay.

Además se comprometen a dar un seguimiento de la alimentación de los deportistas a través de un nutricionista que preparará dietas individuales para cada uno de los miembros del equipo de la parroquia.

Según señala el Arzobispado de Lima, los jugadores más destacados podrán ser parte de la selección peruana de los semilleros de la asociación que disputarán un campeonato en Italia en el 2014.
