Titusville, FL -- Fr. Frank Pavone shares his personal story of being called to the diaconate and priesthood and eventually becoming the National Director of Priests for Life in the latest episode of Deacon Keith Fournier's internet program "The Real Common Good." The 30-minute, one-on-one interview is available now on Catholic Online's YouTube channel.

Deacon Keith, and Catholic Online, have been close collaborators of Priests for Life for 25 years. The interview took place at the new world headquarters of Priests for Life in Titusville, FL on the occasion of Deacon Keith's first visit to the facility recently. Describing his impression of the new headquarters, Deacon Keith exclaimed that the Holy Spirit is truly moving in Priests for Life, which is experiencing a new chapter of growth and activity.

In the discussion, Fr. Pavone speaks about that work, which is interdenominational and rooted in human nature itself and the instinct to protect our own children.

Fr. Pavone also discusses two important anniversaries occurring in 2018, his ordination into the priesthood 30 years ago and his "calling within the call" to defend the unborn full-time and to accept the leadership of Priests for Life 25 years ago. He describes how this work was shaped by three leaders whom he knew personally and relied on for advice: Pope St John Paul II, his mentor Cardinal John O'Connor, and Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

Deacon Keith concludes the interview by noting that Priests for Life and the entire pro-life movement is not just about opposing and exposing the culture of death, but also about building a new Culture of Life and civilization of love.
