Jamie Snider passed away just one day after giving birth to twins (Facebook).

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - She was diagnosed with cervical cancer while she was pregnant with the twins but remained strong.

Larina Campanile, Snider's friend, told ABC 7 Chicago, that Snider had cervical cancer in the past.

She had to have an ovary removed but she survived the deadly illness and was overjoyed to learn about her pregnancy.

Then she was diagnosed with cervical cancer again.

She was treated at the Stanford Medical Center throughout her pregnancy, always with an eye on the safety of her unborn children.

Snider underwent chemotherapy and beat the cancer for a second time. The treatment was harsh, leaving her entirely bald but beaming with her swollen belly.

She posted a selfie to her Facebook page and captioned it: "Tomorrow will be a great day. God has been by my side the whole time. All your prayers and love have kept me going as well.

"Wish me luck. I'm having a C-section at 7 and then a radial hysterectomy right after. I'll be fine. Thank you, God, for keeping me positive through all the hard times."

It was to be her final post.

Snider gave birth to Camila and Nico at 33-weeks gestation. The twins were tiny but healthy.

Camila and Nico were born at 33-weeks-gestation and Jamie got to hold them before she passed.

Snider underwent the surgeries and was recovering the next day when she passed away of congenital heart failure.

"What gives me peace in my heart is she got to see those babies and hold them and be with them a little bit," Campanile stated.

Heath Coigny, the twins' father, has joined forces with his sister and brother-in-law to care for the twins but there are many medical and funeral expenses to consider.

A family member created a GoFundMe account to help pay for the twins' expenses and Snider's funeral.

There is a separate fund for the memorial service, general donations and family expenses.

Many of Snider's friends and family hope she will live on through her children, who may one day share the same beautiful smile their mother had.

Others, believe Snider is still around.

A large cloud appeared near the family home on Tuesday, just after Snider was cremated.

Sarah Lowe, a family friend, said, "Maybe she's in the clouds. They happened to look up."

To the grieving family, the large cloud appeared to have the same smile and pronounced nose as Snider, which helped comfort them on one of the hardest days of their lives.
