LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Three years ago, a little girl named Claudia's best friend, Cursor, the cat, went missing. She never expected to see her cat again, so when her family took her to visit an animal shelter, seeing him was not on her mind.

"Claudia do you like kitties?" a woman, believed to be her mother, asks off-screen. "What kind of kitties do you like?"

Claudia explains that she likes black and yellow cats the most. Her mother asks if she means a calico cat.

At that moment, Claudia remembers Cursor. "I had a calico cat once," she states with sadness on her face.

"Yeah? What does it look like? Does it look like this?" asks her mother as a separate woman appears holding a large black and white cat.

Utterly surprised, Claudia claps her hands to her mouth and rushes to embrace her long-lost cat. Full of love, Claudia cries out, "Cursor! I missed you so much."

Grateful Claudia, still holding on to her cat, thanks the animal shelter for bringing him back to her.

It is astonishing to think about how lost that cat was for three years and still, he made it back to his little owner. Maybe St. Francis of Assisi was watching over Cursor.
