LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Texas father Josh Kinser was recorded in his home rocking in a leather chair with his 18-month-old daughter, Riley.
His arms encompass her and she leans against him chest-to-chest in a sign of complete comfort and trust.
So serene is little Riley that she doesn't move in the entire 40-second-video - with the exception of her little arms. Riley's body remains perfectly still while she pulls her father's arms around her. Every time he pulls away she is ready to pull him back in.The simple act of wanting her father closer mirrors the spiritual tug of the devout toward the Lord.
God is always ready to wrap his arms around us, but we must also call for Him to do so.
We are like Riley, just babes who instinctively know we need our Father.
While some contemplate the heart-warming video as a reminder of Christ's love, others have caused the sweet father-daughter video to go viral.
The short video was uploaded to Facebook by Riley's mother, Casey Johnson Kinser, along with the message, "Riley just can't get going in the morning without morning snuggles with Dada."
The video was uploaded February 6 and has since received over 4 million views and 75,500 shares.Among the comments, Casey wrote: "It warms my heart to see how they're [sic] special relationship has touched so many. He is indeed a wonderful father to all three of our little girls!"
