#BringYourBible: Thousands of children across the United States stood up for their faith and brought their Bibles to school
FREE Catholic Classes
Like last year, the Christian youth of America stood up for religious freedom as they participated in a special activity: Bring Your Bible to School Day. Kids posted photos of themselves and their friends bringing copies of the Holy Scriptures to schools in a compelling message and pride-inducing fight for their beliefs. The nationwide and student-led campaign was also joined in by some adults, who brought their Bibles to work.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Launched and spearheaded by the Christian organization Focus on the Family, the one-day activity that began last year included greater participation this year.
According to The Blaze, around 10,000 students from kindergarten to college were expected to participate and post their accomplishments on social media along with the hashtag #BringYourBible. Last year's event included the participation of over 8,000 people across the United States.Bring Your Bible was available with updates and instructions for students and parents, with an opening message which read: "Welcome to Bring Your Bible to School Day! On this day-Thursday, Oct. 8-thousands of students across the whole country will share God's hope and celebrate religious freedom by doing something simple, yet powerful: They'll bring their Bibles to school and talk about it with friends!"
Students could sign up through the website wherein they will be guided on how to connect to other participating individuals. Downloadable posters, stickers and T-shirt designs, information on legal rights and other interactive activities were available to those who registered and the website also included the ability to join conversations with other kids (and adults) about the religious effort through linked social media accounts.
Participants lit up the internet with images of themselves and friends bringing their Bibles to school Thursday morning. Photos of students and parents standing up for their Christian faith by proudly holding their copies of the Scriptures circulated social media. There are those who posted Bible verses of their choice and thousands of parents were excited and proud of their children's decisions to wholeheartedly join in.
