The traditional style wedding dresses are the most popular of today.

From Queen Victoria's wedding dress in 1840 to those worn by modern day royals and a-list celebrities, a catalog of the most iconic wedding dresses of all times was revealed. The infographic Iconic Wedding Dresses is believed to inspire brides-to-be around the world. For the catalog, all the dresses were put together by Vashi Diamonds.

MUNTINLUPA, PHILIPPINES (Catholic Online) - The 1840 wedding gown of Queen Victoria is one of the traditional dresses, a category that still proves supreme among designers and brides. It was the starting point of the infographic, followed by a series of those worn by other royals during the time, as well as popular celebrities.

Designs and styles are arranged in alphabetical order and also categorized by color, decade and the bride who wore it, according to the Daily Mail. Some of the brides were married more than once, including Audrey Hepburn who has three of her gowns in the catalog.

Hepburn's first wedding dress was never worn because she, with James Hanson, called off their relationship prior to the wedding. The second was created by French fashion label, Balmain, for her wedding with her first husband, the actor and producer Mel Ferrer. Then, she was remarried to Andrea Dotti, an Italian psychiatrist. Her third dress was created by Hubert de Givenchy, a short, pale-pink dress.

Short dresses, commonly worn by brides from the fifties, are shown on celebrities, including Audrey Hepburn, Ava Gardner, Cindy Crawford, Keira Knightley and Yoko Ono. Wedding suits are also showcased, worn by Elizabeth Taylor, Ellen DeGeneres and Marilyn Monroe. There are also off-shoulder gowns, worn by Anne Hathaway, Katie Holmes and Michelle Obama, and one-shoulder wedding gowns, worn by Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani, and Nicole Kidman.

The traditional wedding dresses are still the most popular style, reigning supreme as it was worn by royals, including the Alexander McQueen gown the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton wore in 2011, as she wed Prince William at the Westminster Abbey. According to the report, her gown mirrored that of Grace Kelly's as she married Prince of Monaco, Ranier III, in 1956.
