7 wonderful things adults can learn from kids

Watching the way kids live can teach grown-ups so much about life

When we're young, we are free. We don't have the daily stresses that come with adulthood. Children do what they want, when they want and they rarely care who's watching.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - There are quite a few things adults can learn from children. With some help from BuzzFeed, here are 7 things adults can and should learn from kids:

1. Say what you feel

If there's one thing we know about kids, it's that they are without a doubt brutally honest. "Mom, your singing sucks." "Dad, you stink." Whatever comes to their mind they say. Adults need to be able to speak their minds too; maybe not so brutally, but nonetheless it's an important part in being true to yourself.

Miracles come to those who believe. Find the miracle you need here--

2. Love yourself

Little kids are all about themselves. Everything they do is right and perfect. They love coming up with new ideas and laughing at their own jokes. They believe they are the most important thing in the world. Confidence is a wonderful thing to have.

3. "I CAN do it"

They're so certain they can do anything, even if they've never seen it done before. Have confidence in your ability to try and succeed at everything you set your mind on.

4. Be OK with mistakes

As adults, mistakes are not OK; failing is not acceptable. "Take a lesson from every mistake you make, and remember that if you're too scared to make a mistake, you're too scared to see your true potential," explains BuzzFeed.

5. "Why?"

It's their favorite question... "why?" Don't let things go, don't be afraid to step up and figure out why things are happening a certain way. Expand your mind, indulge your curiosities, ask why.

6. Express yourself

Little kids don't care what anyone thinks. If they think it's cool, it is - end of story. That's something we, as adults, can greatly benefit from. Stop caring about what others think of you.

7. Have BIG dreams

They think they can do anything. They will become President; they will land on Mars. Anything is possible. Adults need to get back to that point of believing in themselves. "With age comes wisdom, knowledge, and experience, which makes going after your dreams all the more possible."
