Even for Planned Parenthood, it's very poorly planned. In Fort Worth, Texas, Planned Parenthood recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open a new abortion clinic. The clincher? It's right next door to an Adoption Center ...

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Titled The Planned Parenthood Southwest Fort Worth Health Center, Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception. The $6.5 million facility was privately funded by North Texans.
Planned Parenthood in November of 2011 had a capital campaign goal of $21.5 million for its new abortion mega-center. The location of the new center, at 6400 John Ryan Drive, was originally kept quiet, probably because of its proximity to the Gladney Center for Adoption.
Described as a "state-of-the-art" abortion facility, the building "will include a larger family planning center, an ambulatory surgical care center and offices."
The clinic has come as a most unpleasant surprise for the surrounding community. The location of the center was reportedly kept secret for some time.
Michael Dean, senior pastor at Travis Avenue Baptist Church, said he and other individuals heard rumors for months that Planned Parenthood was building a new facility.
They say it wasn't until ground was broken that they discovered the location, he said. The new center will also be in the vicinity of Trinity Valley School.
"Our concern is this will become a mega-center for Planned Parenthood," Dean said. "Our prayer would be that they do not perform abortions at this facility."
Al Meredith, senior pastor at Wedgwood Baptist Church, said he believes Planned Parenthood moved quietly on the project to avoid opposition. He says that there was no sign at the site indicating what was being built and permits filed with the city listed a Dallas management company.
Dean said that he and others tried making inquiries to Planned Parenthood about the new facility but that questions went unanswered. "They seemed to do this really surreptitiously," Meredith said. "People have a right to know what is going on."
