LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - According to Vatican Radio, Pope Francis was met by thousands as he rode in the Popemobile to meet with the Rom, Islamic and immigrant families of the city's "White Houses."

In the few hours the pontiff spent in Milan, he spoke with several people ranging from the prominent leaders of churches and organizations to the inmates of the San Vittore Prison, where he lunched.

He celebrated Mass in Monza Park then finally made his way to the football stadium of San Siro, where nearly 80,000 people gathered to see him.

While at the Meazza-San Siro di Milano Stadium, Pope Francis met with several recently confirmed young people.

He accepted several questions from the audience and offered his usual off-the-cuff responses.

Speaking specifically of education, Pope Francis described how a good teacher understands the importance of enhancing and promoting a pupil's qualities without overlooking the student's qualities as a whole.

"Education is 'head-hands-heart," the pontiff explained, adding "children also need to play, to have fun, to rest."

He also asked to put an end to the destructive act of bullying: "Please be careful, be on the look-out for the phenomenon of bullying."

His Holiness asked those present to reflect in silence and ask whether they are the victims of bullying, or if their actions toward another person are a form of aggression.

"This is bullying," he explained, adding they should promise the Lord they will never bully nor allow others to be victims of bullying.
