LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Mika T.* sent an email to Catholic Online reporting a possible miracle which followed the lighting of a candle on Catholic.org.
For nearly a year, Catholic Online has enabled users to seek and share special prayer intentions with one another by lighting a prayer candle. Our Catholic Team Global prayer warriors and many of our staff take time each day to pray with these intentions. As prayer is often a private matter, we do not usually share the fact these prayers are happening, but yes, many of us at Catholic Online, both staff and community, pray with you when you light a candle.
Light your own prayer candle here.
Apparently, a miracle has happened, by the hand of God, to save at least one man from a fatal illness.
Read for yourself:
Dear Catholic Online team,
Thank you for your prayers with the prayer candle, which I lit for 6 months for the cure of my dad's fatal illness and the salvation of him and his wife.
Thanks to your prayers, my dad's doctor told him this morning he does not need to go through the invasive and risky surgery. We are so grateful for your prayers which saved his life.
Now we pray he will come near the Lord to be saved and be given eternal life in Christ.
May the Lord continue to bless all the people at Catholic Online and the works of the Catholic Church.
Peace, love and blessings,
Mika T.
Catholic Online is very happy to hear this joyful news and we give thanks to God and to all those who have prayed and worked to restore this man to health. May we continue to serve others through "Prayer and Action' as we have been challenged to do by Pope Francis.
Mika and family, thank you and may God bless you. Your remain in our prayers.
