LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - When zookeepers at Austria's Schönbrunn Zoo, also called "Vienna Zoo," discovered Giant Panda Yang Yang was pregnant, they were ecstatic.

ABC News reported the zoo's director, Dagmar Schratter, stated: "It had sounded as if there were two young animals squeaking, but the pictures only ever showed one."

Zookeepers provided for Yang Yang's needs and soon she gave birth to not one, but two perfect little pink cubs.

The twins are now less than two-weeks-old and are reportedly doing well despite concerns of Yang Yang favoring the stronger of the two.

"Both pups have little fat bellies and mother panda Yang Yang is very relaxed," Eveline Dungl, the zoo's zoologist, described.

A video was posted to YouTube, showing the family cuddling in a small alcove of the Giant Panda's enclosure.

The time-lapsed video shows Yang Yang constantly showering her twin cubs with tender kisses and warm hugs on a bed of hay.

Several images of the cuddly family have been released but Dungl explained: "The little ones can be rarely seen on the pictures because Yang Yang warms them between her large paws most of the time."

Though the tiny pink babies are still very young, zookeepers have reported black and white coats growing on the pair.

The zoo hopes to reveal the twins to visitors once they are about 4-months-old but until then, the zoo will be posting images and videos across their social media profiles and website.
