LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The Golden Globe awards will be hosted by Jimmy Fallon Sunday, January 2017, followed by Ricky Gervais, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.

The winners will be determined by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and the results can be seen live on NBC.


Meryl Streep is set to receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award, which honors "outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment."

She was nominated for a Golden Globe 29 times, with her most recent film, "Florence Foster Jenkins" is up for nominations in best picture for a musical or comedy and best actress.
