'Pills were provided. Wine was provided. The victim was frozen, paralyzed.'

Bill Cosby has been officially charged with sexual assault. The actor, who has had over 60 women accuse him of rape, will finally be punished for his heinous actions.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - USA Today reports that Cosby could face five to ten years in prison and up to a $25,000 fine if he is convicted.

Prosecutors filed the official charge, which is second-degree aggregated indecent assault, against Cosby on his rape allegation by Andrea Constand.

Montgomery County Assistant District Attorney Kevin Steele has claimed the act was "penetration" without Constand's consent, and during a press conference Steele added, "Pills were provided. Wine was provided. The victim was frozen, paralyzed. A person in that condition is not able to give consent. The evidence is strong and sufficient enough to proceed with the charges."

Despite evidence of the pills and wine, the previous District Attorney ruled it was not sufficient evidence to warrant an arrest.

Constand spoke through her legal team to thank Steele's team. The message her legal team released was: "On behalf of our client, Andrea Constand we wish to express our appreciation to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office, the County Detectives and the Cheltenham Police Department for the consideration and courtesy they have shown Andrea during this difficult time.

"We have the utmost confidence in Mr. Steele, Ms. Feden and their team, who have impressed us with their professionalism. In that this matter is now being pursued in the criminal justice system, we will not comment further."

CNN's calls to Cosby's spokesman, Andrew Wyatt, and his legal-team spokeswoman, Monique Pressley, were not immediately returned.

Cosby is set to be arraigned before a magistrate in Elkins Park, Pa. at approximately 4 p.m. ET.
