House of Horrors Abortion 'Doctor' Heads to Trial on Eight Counts of Murder

'I feel in the long term I will be vindicated,' he tells reporters

Dr. Kermit Gosnell, the notorious Philadelphia abortion doctor who ran a virtual "house of horrors" where poor and under-aged women could get late-term abortions is now headed to trial on eight counts of murder. Gosnell ran a filthy, subhuman clinic where the bodies of aborted children were kept in a refrigerator. "I feel in the long term I will be vindicated," Gosnell told reporters in a 2010 interview, a month after the federal drug raid. "I aspire to perfection, certainly for my patients."

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Drug agents were searching for a suspected "pill mill" at the West Philadelphia clinic three years ago and found deplorable conditions at Gosnell's Women's 'medical' Center. The 72-year-old Gosnell is charged with killing a pregnant refugee and seven viable newborns. He also faces a separate federal trial on prescription drug charges.

Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams called Gosnell's blighted clinic where agents found baby  body parts in glass jars and staff refrigerators, and patient rooms filthy and blood-stained - a veritable "house of horrors."

Gosnell, who has since pleaded not guilty, has long pretended he is some kind of medical missionary in the blighted neighborhood where he worked and lived for 40 years. His clinic treated the poor, immigrants, teens and women with late-stage pregnancies who could not get abortions elsewhere.

Many of these patients were left with infections, perforated bowels and other injuries after barbaric abortions were performed by untrained, unlicensed staff, according to numerous lawsuits and a lengthy 2011 grand jury report. Forty-one-year old Karnamaya Mongar lost her life there in 2009.
All but one of the nine clinic workers arrested with Gosnell has pleaded guilty, three of them to third-degree murder, which carries a potential 20- to 40-year prison sentence.

Unlicensed doctor Steven Massof of Pittsburgh told the grand jury that he used scissors to snip the spines of more than 100 babies born alive, working for Gosnell for a few hundred dollars a week. He pleaded guilty to third-degree murder in the deaths of two babies allegedly stabbed by Gosnell while Massof assisted with the abortions.

Gosnell's third wife, Pearl, a cosmetologist, pleaded guilty to performing an illegal, late-term abortion and other charges.

"Many times people have not been able to fully pay me for my services," Gosnell said. "As a principle, I have not refused to provide them care."

Gosnell made millions over the years, both from abortions and a thriving side practice where staffers allegedly dispensed his pre-signed prescriptions for OxyContin, Percocet and other highly addictive painkillers.

It's not clear if Pennsylvania jurors have ever been asked to send a man of Gosnell's age or occupation to death row.

"Dr. Gosnell is never going to get the death penalty," defense attorney Jack McMahon said early on, noting his client's age and the cost of protracted capital cases.

He certainly executed death sentences on women and children.

This man is a narcissist extraordinaire. Unbelievable. Even if the murder wasn't an issue, the keeping of baby parts in jars, etc. is sick, sick, sick. He has no shame. It's good to see the face of evil now and then, to experience how deceptive it can be.

Those poor, poor babies, and those poor mothers. How horrific for those babies to die in that way. All women who may want an abortion, should see this article. May God have mercy on all those who participated in these murders. I can only imagine Christ with tears on his face.

The sad part: there is no conscience, no remorse, no perception of guilt of killing human beings by this so called docor. His mind and his heart is not right just by reading his statement about he "aspires to perfection." No heart; no conscience; and for this type of inhuman provider of care, we, here in the USA, put innocent vulnerable desperate women in the hands of a butcher and it is called legal. Just here, Innocent babies ere slaughtered by the hands of a bad seed. " And "this" has been perceived an acceptable procedure in the USA from President Obama, Mrs. Obama and many who voted for Mr. Obama. And "this" is the heart of America today: no conscience. Know the signs of the times: prepare your souls; Your Maker is soon to meet mankind face to face and "then" justice shall be for all the creations of God who were slaughtered by the butchers hand. His attorney is right, sad to say. This so called doctor will not get the death sentence because of the state of the conscience of the government and supporters of the right to kill the unborn. Why wasn't something done before it got to a point that even one was murdered? There must have been signs ahead of time that demonstrated a need to put this doctors license on hold for performing unclean, unsafe services to women..It seems that the reason for further investigation of this so called doctor was more inreference to illegal drug passing rather than the sad dirty methods of this butcher. I was an RN for over 30 years and I delivered babies along this pathway. I never supported the killing of Gods creations no manner the mothers desire nor what some doctors I have worked with desired to do with these little creations, even before abortion was legal. I defied physicians who wanted me to let little babies die because these little ones were not wanted by their mothers. I could never let a baby die from my own neglect to follow my conscience. Professional medical personnel have an oath to uphold, to uphold life and not promote, provoke, nor abuse situations weak women are in as in their emotions. .I think someone dropped the ball, dragged their feet before butching of the innocent occurred. God help us to stop such inappropriate medical care and treatment of the wombs of women and the seeds produced because man does not seem to have a conscience nor wisdom to defend "the least of these."

None of these stories are ever covered in the mainstream media because they are co -conspirators with the death machine that has bought and paid for their services. Mainstream media is a joke! For in depth coverage of these issues and others, go to Lifenews.com. There you will find coverage of this and other atrocities and deaths covered up by the aborttion lobby. This is but one. May God have mercy!

    Jane D,
Sadly this (or stories like this one) will never be on the front page of anything but perhaps the local paper where it takes place. Why? Because it doesn't push the liberal pro-abortion, pro "gay marriage", anti Catholic agenda.

This man is evil incarnate. One can only hope that he eventually sees his horrible actions for what are and spend the rest of his life repenting. Even then.... only God knows...
