'Clergy for Choice' Issue Counterfeit Call for 40 Days of Prayer Supporting Abortion

The distinction between true and false prophets is not my own. It is a part of the Jewish and Christian tradition

The "Humboldt County Clergy for Choice" of Planned Parenthood and this "40 days of prayer and contemplation" is fruit from a poisonous tree. The members of this Council are false prophets. Their call for gatherings to pray for "reproductive justice" began on March 18, 2012 and is scheduled through April 27, 2012. In their brochure they invoke whomever it is they are praying to send "a cloud of gentleness to surround every abortion facility." How horribly evil and profane that request is! In those abortion facilities children are dismembered, burned and suctioned to death.

EUREKA,CA (Catholic Online) - Six Rivers Planned Parenthood in Eureka, California has been the subject of numerous reports in the Pro-Life news community. Their branch of "Clergy for Choice" is leading what they are calling "40 Days of Prayer and Contemplation".

The campaign brochure offers themes for prayer and meditation each day.  Obviously modeled after the "40 Days for Life" campaign which has resulted in saving the lives of numerous children, this counterfeit campaign has been designed by a group which calls itself "Faith Aloud".

"Faith Aloud" is another organization purporting to be "spiritual" while calling the intentional killing of children in the womb a "moral choice". For those who wish to see the depths of the depravity of the "Faith Aloud" outreach and its other social commitments, you can go here.

The outcry in the authentically Christian community - once made aware of this sophistry and perfidy - has been loud. However, too many authentic Christians and other people of faith and good will who value the dignity of every life are not even aware of it. That is why I write, to sound the trumpet.

I think we need to be ready for much more of this effort to call evil good. The Hebrew prophet Isaiah warned Israel of "those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness to light, and light into darkness, who change bitter to sweet, and sweet into bitter." (Isaiah 5:20) These false prophets are not new. However, they need to be exposed and opposed in our own day and we must undertake that task.

Years ago I wrote about Planned Parenthood's 2007-2008 Annual Report. As a 501 c3 organization (with an affiliated "Action fund" for its more overtly political efforts) they have to make the report available to the public. I understand the role and function of such reports having led not for profit groups in the past. It keeps members, supporters and friends aware of the organizations use of their funds and gives the organization the opportunity to self promote. The Planned Parenthood report was deeply disturbing on so many fronts.

Planned Parenthood is built on a lie. They have dressed themselves up as a "Health Care Provider" while they include the taking of the lives of innocent children in the womb as a "service" under their offering of "reproductive services". They have insinuated themselves into the global delivery of "medical services" receiving massive government funding.

There is nothing "reproductive" about abortion, it always kills. It is not a service to the child, the mother, the father or society. Nor is it "health care". It is feticide. Funding it is morally repugnant. Planned Parenthood is the leading institutional champion of a culture which has redefined "choice" to include killing young innocent human life and "freedom" to include the commission of unspeakable horrors against an entire class of people, children in the first home of the whole human race.

Their 2007 - 2008 Report took those claims to a level of audacity which I had never seen. They honored a woman who referred to the killing of children in the womb through surgical strikes and chemical weapons as "Sacred Work" and "Prophetic Work".  Isaiah also warned of "those who are wise in their own sight, and prudent in their own esteem!" (Isaiah 5: 21). She is a false prophet.

The distinction between true and false prophets is not my own. It is a part of the Jewish and Christian tradition. Planned Parenthood's "Clergy for Choice" are false prophets. The "Didache" or "The Teaching of the Twelve Apostles" dates from the 1st Century. In it we discover how the early Christians discerned the difference between true and false prophets.

Let me turn to its language: "There are two ways, one of life and one of death; and between the two ways there is a great difference. Now, this is the way of life. Do not murder; do not commit adultery; do not corrupt boys; do not fornicate; do not steal; do not practice magic; do not go in for sorcery; do not murder a child by abortion or kill a newborn infant."

This is a part of a long line of unbroken Christian teaching which, along with the clear witness of the Scriptures and Church Councils affirms the absolute rejection of abortion in Christianity. To claim otherwise is simply to lie about history. The "Didache" also dealt with people using the name Christian and claiming to be prophetic when they were neither. Later we read this warning: "Let everyone who "comes in the Name of the Lord" be received; but when you have tested him you shall know him, for you shall have understanding of true and false.' ...

The spirit of Judas is alive and well - how sad! These so called clergy would be wise to consider Judas' ultimate fate and repent while there is still time. But then again, only those steeped in a very deep spiritual blindness would even remotely consider supporting a movement like this. When darkness reigns over the mind, the result is only folly!

Deacon Fournier, thank you for another eye-opening article. I've been aware of these diabolics before. These Amoral slime of the earth are organized and financed by the Marxist Democrat Party. The dirty little secret is that organizations like these are laundered money via government grants. Many of us have heard about tax money wasted on the "Studies of ant procreation" and other absurd things like this. These are just grant titles to justify getting government money. Once the money goes out, there is no oversight on how or where it is spent. On the other side of the coin, we have this Amoral slime running free over our Catholic Universities. Where are the Bishops??? Sandra Fluke is having a "Free-For-All" on the Georgetown University campus. She is pushing the same thing. I would like to know who is financing her Tuition and Living Costs. We Catholics have a choice this November to keep the Amoral decline of our nation or make a change to throw out the Marxists.

Could this actually be the straw that breaks the camel’s back?
Has it finally gotten to the place where the bishops will begin to name names and assign visible sanctions to Catholic politicians and other celebrities who openly support and supply taxpayer funds to the culture of death? Or will they continue to be simply sadly disturbed, extremely disappointed, or gravely concerned at the turn of events?
If the bishops hope to have the laity to dutifully due their part to combat the stark evil presenting itself today they MUST show their support for the troops by identifying the traitors in our midst. We know evil when we see it and all we want is a little VERIFICATION!!
Otherwise their call for action rings hollow.

Deacon Keith: Since I have never heard of this, I was shocked, stunned, appalled...you name it. Theresa H. echoes my thoughts to the core of my being. Yes, thank you, for alerting us to more prayer and continued fasting. Actually, under Obama, I think it has been a non-stop Lent! I cannot believe the lies spewing from her mouth! And ministers who lead in such a way divide Christianity all the more. I guess when God told the Devil he could have rein over Job, he is giving Devil/Evil rein now...like Sodom & G., God needs His people to come back to Him. He wants us to work in His vineyard, and pray, and fast, and do good works. But He wants All of us to Unite. The posts thus far are great! Easter Blessings...

Here's hoping they all suffer eternal torment beginning here in the present... may their hardened hearts slowly wither but never die.

The 40 days of prayer & contemplation is seen to have overshot & to this is the reflection of the parable of the Virgins who it seems through their indulgences by the abortions missed the Bridegroom when He came, except off course that this "Clergy for Choice " by their words of 'Sacredness" & its Prophets relates indepth to the pagan Baal & his prophets to the "sacred feminine" of Hinduism which again is to feminism through the Jezebels to the Babylonian harlot, but then GOD thought it not to be sacred when he put hardships, upon the first parents to the rebellion against His word, even though unto corrections against sin, which proof is there upto this day across the earth, neither did GOD think it to be scared when He judged Egypt & its gods, neither think it to be sacred when He is to Judge the dead & the living to the Prophesy., even unto all the gods in the fierceness of His wrath in the day of the Lord.. History repeats when it is forgotten or not understood. This clergy for choice & their indulgences are spilled like unto the beliefs of a Simon Magus & unto His Harlot partner to a wife, demeaning to the word wife, which is to "Sorcery" of Pseudo Christians who by these ways project the signs in the usherings to the Biblical revelation of the Man of Sin, the Son of Perdition,. which seems to a time not far off.

Not too long ago I saw a female Lutheran pastor on foxnews say that for some women an abortion can be a blessing! there are definitely false prophets among us in our christian churches; that includes pastors, priests and laity, hopefully this new evangelization will reap some fruit, otherwise I don't see how this country cannot self implode from it's immoral underpinnings, people don't even realize that these 50+ million abortions over the years will eventually affect our economics, you have the Russian government paying couples to have babies, they finally realize their demographic nightmare from all the abortions in that country, not to mention what China is going to experience with their one child policy in the coming years.

These false prophets are apalling. They are the outcome of the dictatorship of relativism. Gosh, I never really thought the devil would raise up those he has seduced so publicly. I know that we prolifers work and pray, now what will God do? These deluded false prophets commit a terrible blasphemy against Jesus Christ the Lord of all life. Even if they would convert to the truth, how will they ever atone for all the murdered little children their public words and actions have enabled. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes for anything. If converted and forgiven, Christ will offer atonement for them, but they still have to do some. Also, I think these people are essentially irreligious and completely political. I'm sure they believe politics is their religion.

While most Christians have always been anti-abortion and this fact has been well-known, I find it more than interesting that the present Christian anti-abortion vociferous outcry, led by the Catholic church against the HHS mandate, now suddenly has Planned Parenthood espousing a "religious" philosophy. The obvious lie of the Planned Parenthood agenda is insulting. I
