Farrakhan speech - Jesus was black, Mary was Egyptian, and brothers ain't shooting no blanks.

Inflammatory Nation of Islam leader speaks out -- from a Christian church.

Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam, has captured attention once again with fresh racist rhetoric. In an inflammatory speech delivered at Jefferson Street Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville, the Nation of Islam leader made a series of incredible comments.

Louis Farrakhan, racist.

Louis Farrakhan, racist.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Among the gems were:

--He's not an anti-Semite.  "I don't know what anti-Semitism is from your perspective, because we've never stopped a Jewish person from going to the school of his or her choice. We've never stopped a Jewish person from owning property or setting up businesses. We've never done that. We've never made laws to exclude Jewish persons. But we know somebody did that to us. So could it be that those who call me anti-Semitic are anti-black?"

--Jesus and Mary were blacks of African descent. "Jesus, whether you want to believe it or not, was a man of color. How many of you are ready to accept Jesus as one of you? Jesus - his mother Mary was an Egyptian. Egypt is Northeast Africa."

(Author's note: Certainly, we know Jesus was not Caucasian, but Egyptian?)

--Solomon and David were black. "Jesus said in Revelations 'I am the seed of David. The root of Jesse. The bright and the morning star.' Well Jesse was the father of David. David was the father of Solomon and Solomon said 'I am black but come ye all you daughters of Jerusalem!" So if Solomon was black, David couldn't have been white."

--Interracial relationships are destroying the black race.  "White folks don't produce black children - except it's [sic] a white woman with a black man or a black man with a white woman and that's the end of your race. So you're dying a natural death these days. And without an AK47 'cause the brother ain't shooting no blanks."

--The Holy Father (and Rev. Billy Graham) knows Jesus was black. "So if Jesus was a black man and you're looking for him to return, why did they give us the image of themselves when the Pope knows that Jesus was black? Even Billy Graham said it years ago and the Pope has a black Madonna - so why did you make him white when you know he was black?"

--Republicans are "tired" of black people. "Now you conservative Republicans, you know you tired of black people. I understand because the scriptures say I'm going to vex you with the foolish people and you about vexed now. But let me tell you something about these Republicans. They've given you enough they feel and they don't want to give you no more."

-- Whites have used blacks (beyond slavery). "You saw us suffering. You knew we were wounded but you didn't have the good oil or even the will to make a better people. But you saw us in our destroyed state and you used us to your advantage without ever healing us."
And these are just the best examples from Farrakhan's screed.

Farrakhan continues to divide Americans and hurl the most absurd accusations based on hasty racial generalizations. There is no doubt that slavery was a great evil, and that there have been exceptional challenges faced by blacks even to the present day. But perhaps the greatest challenge that persists is not the distinction of race, but the insistence by the mongers of division that race should somehow matter more than as a question of personal identity.

For all the Ignorant and Angry folk out there. The very first depictions of Jesus Christ were Black.
In fact, there is a coin from the time of Constantine which have Constantine on one side (obviously European) and a picture of the one believed to be Christ on the other. He was a Black man with 7 locks on his head.
When Michael Angelo was asked to paint a picture of the last supper with white people, he told the Pope that there were NO MODELS for such a painting.
The Pope told him, "You will think of something"
He did. He used his own family as the models for the painting.
Don't get mad! Look it up!
By the way. When the Portugese were sent to West Africa, they had to learn 2 languages to communicate with the people they found there. Hebrew and Aramaic. Why is that?
Don't get mad! Look it up!
When the Arabs were asked by a Missionary who those people were, the Arabs told them "Those are the people of the book.
    Which book is that?
Don't get mad! Look it up!

It is not important for you to know my name.

Honestly im not muslim nor do i believe in the nation of islams teachings but regardless king solomon was black because the bible says so period. people cant argue with scripture and this is important to me a Black man or any other black because we have know history. Now with this knowledge given that should be preached in every church across the globe because now children and adults can read the bible as our history rather than the history of the jews or hebrews. Now we can look at it as our history its more personal.

If the color of Jesus doesn't matter, why has
all of white Chritianity, including the Mormons
falsely present Jesus as Caucasian. In view
of this lie, please present biblical and scientific
    proof that Jesus was white.

Are you serious? The Catholic Church is hugely responsible for the false misrepresentation of Jesus around the world. When Min. Farrakhan corrects the many that have been told, you have a problem. Focus on stopping your priest from harassing little boys. Farrakhan told the truth, Jesus was not White, he was and is Black.

If you want to believe that he is the devil, than believe that. I don't understand why the Catholic is expressing view about Farrakhan. What do you believe? Keep it going, all sides. What do you believe in you heart? Do you like Blacks, whites, Latino, Asians. What is the problem? I'm tired and have love in my heart for most. I think we should own what we believe. I'm not here to change anyone mind but. I choose not to hate anyone and I'm a better person for it. IF YOU BELIEVE, SPEAK OUT, TELL THE WORLD, AND OWN IT. I have grown in the past few years and some of the things that my Mom and Dad told me was not true. That's why I keep asking what do you believe. Just my thought.

The reason he said Mary was Egyptian is that that Mohommad confused Mary with Miriam the sister of Moses. According to the Qur’an (Surah 19:28, 3:33-36), Mary, the mother of Jesus, was the daughter of Imran or Amram, the father of Moses and Aaron. Mary is also said to be the sister of Moses and Aaron. Clearly Muhammad confused Mary with Miriam. Also one of the things black people don't realize is that Islam has never condemned slavery. It was the Arabs who brought the slaves to the coast for the whites to pick them up - the white man didn't have to go into the interior of Africa to get them. And even today Omar Bashir in Sudan has enslaved many black people - Rene

Did Farrakhan tell the truth or did he lie?

God loves all of his creation and it is not based on man's outward appearance but his inner that God judges. Why should Farrakhan presume to judge on what God does not? Surely, if he were a man of God, he would know this; God loves the peacekeepers. Repent and pray for those who continue to incited brother against brother. Amen
