Planned Parenthood CEO arrested for public park sex crime

A Planned Parenthood CEO has been arrested in Lubbock, Texas after being charged with indecent exposure. Tony Ray Thornton, President and CEO of the Lubbock affiliate, was arrested and released on bail Tuesday.

LUBBOCK, TX (Catholic Online) - Thornton, 56, was charged with indecent exposure after accusations that he exposed himself at a public park. He was arrested at the park in the vicinity of the baseball fields, around 3:30 PM.

Thornton has not returned to work following the incident and he has not spoken to reporters or issued any statements. The national headquarters of Planned Parenthood has not issued any statements.

According to Texas Penal Code, indecent exposure involves the display of one's "genitals with the intent to arouse the sexual desire of another person."

Thornton has worked for Planned Parenthood for several years, and has been a vocal proponent of anti-life issues. He has also spoken out against pregnancy, saying that, "Without this program women will not have access to birth control [drugs and abortifacients]. They will get pregnant."

There is no word on whether Thornton will continue his employment with Planned Parenthood.

UPDATE: An announcement from Planned Parenthood board chair, Mariah Sharpe states that Thornton is on leave and will not return to duty as head of the organization.

The police report lists a 43 year-old male victim. Police have not commented if there were children in the vicinity.

Indecency has been proclaimed as a freedom of speech for too long. This form lf indecency is another form of flashing. It is disqusting. So are the many forms of approved of,public forms of exhibition,that people gladly pay to see. There is no end to this madness. The influence of a devil in one,is to the degree that one allows the influence to control ones actions. Catholics call this free choice of a free will. "Choose a blessing or choose a curse." Planned parenthood is the curse on our society. The actions of this CEO prove the point. Evil begets evil. Evil especially sexual evil is a pollutant for the human mind,as it presents a self justification for ones poor conduct as some sort of a human right these days. Sexually evil people become corrupted and disillusioned. They become vulnerable to committing and justifying almost any other kind of evil. That is the way a devil steals a soul one by one and eventually will control our entire society. Pray to end abortion. Do not vote for pro abortion candidates. Evil will never end evil it will only promote it and justify it. This CEO is an advocate of evil but he will only get his hand slapped for his behaviour because he believes abortion is a right for woman. If maternity is a curse than he is right,abortion is appropriate. For all who really believe that maternity is a curse than spell abortion---D-E-V-I-L !
