Empty and Beautiful - Matt Maher

Matt Maher is one of the biggest name in contemporary Catholic music. He has made a name for himself with CDs like The Beginning and the End and Overflow.
His latest CD, Empty and Beautiful, moves him to into a different field and balances the edgy and the delicate, the corporate and the introspective.

Quite honestly it is his best CD to date. The is a pop/ rock sound with simple and hard-hitting theological true lyrics mixed with piano ballads with lush strings.
The 12-song collection starts off with the powerful tune of "Your Grace is Enough" and is a good song to start the CD off with. “Look Like a Fool” has a gentle rocking message that everyone should hear: “Feeding the hungry/Clothing the naked/Giving the homeless a place to rest/Visiting the prisoner/Lifting up the lowly.” The is also the piano-driven tune driven "On The Third Day" that stands out as a favorite.
With Empty and Beautiful, Matt Maher invites us to see and embrace the hidden gifts in life's challenges.
