Why does CIS give away free booklets?
Since its inception in 1948, CIS has been spreading the good news about Jesus and His Church by giving away Catholic information to anyone interested. Back then, the main goal was to dispel the ignorance that frequently fuelled anti-Catholic sentiment. Today, CIS continues to pursue its mission of evangelization by making it easy to get trustworthy Catholic information.

What's the catch?
There is no catch. We will not use your name or information for any other purpose than to send you free booklets, and we will send you only the booklets you request, and an order form listing all of our booklets (there are more than 60!). For those who wish to order larger quantities of booklets to stock literature racks or to use in discussion groups and classes, we ask for help in defraying shipping costs.
