Iranian president delivers vitriolic tirade 'annihilation of Israel'

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says ultimate goal must be the annihilation of Israel

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad delivered a fiery Ramadan speech to Islamic country ambassadors. In short, Ahmadinejad declared that the liberation of Palestine will solve all world problems and that the ultimate goal of world forces must be the annihilation of Israel.

Among other claims, Iranian President Ahmadinejad has called the Holocaust a myth and previously called for Israel's annihilation in a 2005 speech in which he used a Persian phrase that translates literally as 'wiped off the page of time.'

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - In a speech published on his Web site this week, President Ahmadinejad spoke to ambassadors from Islamic countries ahead of "Qods Day," or "Jerusalem Day," an annual Iranian anti-Zionist event established in 1979 by the Ayatollah Khomeini. The event falls this year on August 17. Ahmadinejad said that a "horrible Zionist current" had been managing world affairs for "about 400 years."

The Iranian president, using the usual anti-Semitic slurs accused "Zionists" of controlling the world's media and financial systems, who he says are "behind the scene of the world's main powers, media, monetary and banking centers.

"They are the decision makers, to the extent that the presidential election hopefuls [of the U.S.] must go and kiss the feet of the Zionists to ensure their election victory," he added.

Ahmadinejad added that "liberating Palestine" would solve all the world's problems, although he did not give further details on exactly how that might work.

"Qods Day is not merely a strategic solution for the Palestinian problem, as it is to be viewed as a key for solving the world problems," he said.

"Anyone who loves freedom and justice must strive for the annihilation of the Zionist regime in order to pave the way for world justice and freedom."

The Iranian president said that Israel reinforced "the dominance of arrogant powers in the region and across the globe" and that Arab countries in particular - he cited Bahrain, Yemen, Libya, Syria and Turkey - were affected by Israel's "plots."

Among other claims, Ahmadinejad has called the Holocaust a myth and previously called for Israel's annihilation in a 2005 speech in which he used a Persian phrase that translates literally as "wiped off the page of time."

william f mcdonagh III -- You need to go back on your meds, ASAP.

Israel isn't obsessive about annihilating anyone. In 1948, the Gaza strip had a population of 68,000. Today it's 2,00,000 -- but i'm willing to bet a closet neo-nazi like you still sells the idea of "genocide in palestine". The numbers are against you.... so is common sense... so is the rest of humanity (well, the skinheads and the jihadists are on your side, yes. i'll give you that - some company you got there).

shia islam is indeed so peaceful..as sunni islam is..we can see this sort of "peace" spreading like cancer all over the world. recently a man that was walking is dog in spain was assaulted by 50 muslims and almost killed, even with police protection. as per ususal most media outlets ignored this islamic terrorist crime, as they always do, to try to appeaser a monster, that keeps growing an growing more and more belicouls, bold, beligerant, intolerant, violent and supremaicst. this tytant genocidal speech reflects this islmonazi line of thought; we must stop islam on its tracks or else we will be killed, enslaved amd brutalised inside our very homesvery very soon. This is happening thanks to the unlimited, unrestricted and self-destructive immigration policies that allow millions of dangerous muslims to dwell, prosper, grow inside our western countries, stealing our land along with our freedoms right in our faces.

Ahmadinejad has been spouting tirades about annihilating Israel (and then America) virtually every day since he came into power. He has even made references to this in his speeches to the U.N. and Columbia U. But the liberal-leaning mainstream news media, together with other anti-Semitic and anti-American agitators, insist he is a man of peace, while pointing the finger at Israel and the U.S. as the reasons there is conflict in the Middle East.

It's a relief to see SOMEBODY with the courage to report the mad Iranian leader's threats.

The Iranian leader speaks volumes for himself. We all know where he is. A thorn in everyone's side! I should say, most everyone. Does he threaten to liberate Palestine? Does Obama truly back Israel? Obama is a slick Chicago politician, after all, look where his "change" got us. I think Obama will say anything to please, "on the slippery slope". Romney, on the other hand, although progressive and new, IS NOT OBAMA. IF Romney gets in, he will have to prove himself as well. For now, Obama's had his 4 years, and he gets the boot! He doesn't know who's side to be on...or, as some think, he does, and it is a play well written and documented to which he plays a perfect role.
Perhaps Hannity was right. We should have gone into Iran at the beginning of the Iraq War, when they caused so much havoc to our troops. Now look what we have on our hands...a ticking madman! Good article. I needed to hear more about this person like I need a whole in the head! But, I am still living in Faith, Hope and Love in the land of Reality. Blessings...

A war with Iran seems almost inevitable. Since 9/11 that has been in the news continuously. George Bush and Obama haven't been able to quell the tension and I doubt that there is any real intent to do so. If Romney is elected we will almost certainly be in WWIII and if Obama gets re-elected there is also a strong possibility. We have 7 billion people on this planet and our government and the governments of other developed nations are doing nothing to address unemployment. Romney wants to gear up a stronger military force and provoke our enemies while Obama wants to kiss their behinds and ruin this country further. We really are between a rock and a hard place and I doubt that Romney would actually turn out to be the next Reagan if elected.

The words '"Annihilation" coming from the mouth of the man makes the cunning "Beast" to use it to its advantage into framing it up with "Universal Fascism" revealed in the Biblical revelations "As the head that received a deadly wound is seen healing".

If Israel is actually "wiped off the map", who will the failed Arab/Muslim dictators, tyrants and kings have left to blame for all their misgoverning?

No, if Israel were to be wiped off the map, as Mr. AhMADineJIHAD wishes, he would have to invent another bogeyman to frighten his involuntary constituents and defelect their attention from the misgovernance and downright criminal and treasonous activities.

This has been true since before 1948 and will remain true as long as Arab/Muslim society remains bogged down in the seventh century.
