Obama and the Catholic fifth column - a match contrived in Hell

Obama is hostile to Catholics, some Catholics okay with that.

Nearly 25 percent of all Americans are members of the Roman Catholic Church. That is virtually 1 in 4 Americans -- and voters. So why is Obama attacking a full quarter of the American population? And why is the bulk of that quarter allowing him to get away with it?

Imagine the outrage if Obama ordered every Muslim to consume pork and you'll imagine the anger (most) Catholics feel.

Imagine the outrage if Obama ordered every Muslim to consume pork and you'll imagine the anger (most) Catholics feel.

LOS ANGELES, CA Catholic Online) - Last week, the administration fired its latest salvo at the Church, listing the Vatican on a money laundering "watch list" despite having zero evidence of any wrongdoing and the Church's imminent listing on a European "white list" which signifies that the institution has taken strong measures to ensure transparency and ethical conduct.

And earlier in the year, the Church has been put into a fight, picked by the administration, that essentially compels the Church itself, and affiliated institutions to violate their own conscience under threat of law.

This disrespect isn't new. As far back as 2008, Obama made a point to shun Catholic leaders from attending the inauguration; instead a homosexual Episcopal Bishop was invited among others. There was plenty of religious diversity on display at the Presidential Inauguration, but no Catholics needed apply.

These deeds have inspired Church leaders to take a courageous stance against the administration, entering virtual combat, via legal means, with the administration in a fight for survival that is quite real.

Of course, none of this would be possible except for the complacency, apathy, and outright fifth column style support of Catholics - for a man who intentionally disrespects the basic tenets of their faith.

Make no mistake. What controversy would erupt if Obama proposed laws that compelled Muslims to consume pork, under threat of legal sanction? And how scandalous would such a proposal be if it were actively supported by fellow Muslims, and apathetically accepted by the rest?

Yet, that is precisely what Obama is doing to Catholics. The President has embarked on an overt campaign of disrespect, subversion, and confrontation, and most terribly, with the assistance of others who publicly identify themselves as Catholic

In addition to targeting Catholics, Obama's policies have also targeted helpless children in the womb as a means to gain votes. Perhaps this is the issue that has sparked this apparent hatred of the Church. In 2008, Obama pledged allegiance to Planned Parenthood and making the evil of abortion freely available to all women. As a state senator, he sponsored the Freedom of Choice Act and called it the "highest legislative priority." Since then, he has been a public odds with the Church's faithful.

It's hard to imagine - that in a nation where freedom of conscience is outlined as part of the first natural right codified in its Constitution, a leader who consistently gets away with the most vicious attacks on the Church and its people. However, given the number of Catholics voting to support Obama, both in the senate and on the street, it's becoming easier to imagine every day.

Oxymorons, Christians who continuously vote for Anti-Christians. Isn't it about time that people of faith band together and vote these Money Changers (As he cleansed the Temple of greed and profit, Jesus quoted from Isaiah 56:7: "My house shall be called a house of prayer, but you make it a den of robbers." (Matthew 21:13,) Tell your friends and your family vote their conscience and rid America of these Demoncratics!

To Brother Kevin- Sebelius was excommunicated when she was a Governor(of Kansas or Nebraska, I forget which.) As for what we faithful Catholics should be doing right now-follow the Bishops lead now, don't harp about the past. The Bishops who are in union with the Holy Father are the rightful authorities and teachers of the Faith. If some Catholics are disobedient in practicing birth control or for voting for enemies of the Church, and they are obstinate in their sin , they are already under judgement. God will help His faithful and obedient ones." God will always forgive repentant sinners, but the grace of repentance is not always given to some sinners. St. Ambrose-Doctor of the Church." Don't trouble yourselves about unfaithful Catholics and those they side with. Turn them over to God and get busy following the lead of the Bishops.

The Church either has laws or it doesn't. The Marxist Democrats who call themselves Catholic publicly while attacking the Catholic Church with serious ferociousness need to be rebuked publicly by the church hierarchy. The Church leaders have a duty to defend the faith and that includes excommunication. The Bishops should tell Pelosi and the others, "since you hate the Church and are diligently working to undermine it, you're out of here. Come back when you have a change of heart and mind." Sitting back while these anti-Catholics attack the faith, just emboldens the enemies of the church.

Who is trying to justify anything? I understand the difference in regards to scandal between a public official versus a school janitor....don't be ridiculous. But I sometimes wonder if the motive of those who incessantly call for exommunication are doing it as a means to punish or if they truly care about the salvation of the soul who is excommunicated. The medicinal aspects of excommunication are just lost when it becomes just a form of punishment. I will continue to maintain that until we catholic chrisitians begin to seriously live our faith, we have no chance of turning the tide. We are putting way to much faith in caesar and the things of caesar instead of focusing on the conversion of one life at a time. Given that we seem to be completely unconcerned about the percentage of people contracepting in our parishes (grave, moral matter) and just focus everything on caesar, we should not be suprised when this thing passes and nothing changes. Dealing with the government is easy. We really don't have to get our hands dirty. We can whine and moan, protest etc. It's mostly impersonal and really doesn't require a whole lot of me. But actually trying to teach others, or help them see the truth...to really try to conform my life to Jesus and live the way he wants me to live....that's the hard work. The other is like my cat that likes to chase their tail....broken people just pointing out the failures of other broken people, but no one trying to save anyone. It's the government's job to save souls right?

Rob, The Catholic Bishops would do the church justice if they excommunicated the "Pelosi" Catholics. To be a public figure and blatantly go against the church is unconscionable. To answer your question, Yes, the Pelosi Catholic's sins are greater. You are trying to justify the anti-Catholic behavior and actions of Public Figures as something on the same level as the school janitor. Pelosi and her ilk need to be excommunicated ASAP. Public Figures need to be held accountable because they placed themselves on a higher standard.

Brother Kevin, I sometimes wonder if the misdeeds of these high profile Catholics is God's way to get us to look at ourselves. Is our house in such pristine order that we dare chant for excommunication? Because the confession lines seem rather small compared to the lines for the Eucharist on Sunday's? Is one's sins worse than the others, or do they all cry for justice?

I have a question. After all that Obama and HHS has done to the Constitution of the United States of America, Where in Heck and High Water is that !! Big Constitution Man !! Ron Paul??? Is it me or is Ron Paul conspicuously "Stone Silent". Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich are out there making this a big issue. I hear ZIP NADA from Ron Paul. His "partner-in-crime" RINO Romney is also "Stone Silent" on Obama's attack on the Catholic Church. All Mr. RINO can do is call Santorum a Washington Insider. It pains me to see how so many people can allow the Marxist Media Complex to pull the wool; over their eyes.

I agree with Terri: "Some of us Catholics are a little confused by what we're seeing...I mean NOT seeing from our own Church's leaders." In essence, why isn't the Church acting to ex-communicate those "Catholics" in government who have encouraged anti-Catholic actions? It is beginning to seem that the Church wishes the ordinary parish member to take the lead in this debate over the healthcare mandate so that the Church doesn't have to take a real stand and risk political ties, however weak and anti-Catholic these ties happen to be. I find this as disconcerting as the healthcare mandate.

Obama belongs in the type of ruler to evil, to the continuation, as described in the Bible regarding the King of Tyne, in the Avatarism of the three core & a six to the number of a man, in the " Spiritual Harlotry" corresponding to the false spirituality of its Pagan/Atheist roots in its avatars, denoted by the Biblical words of the manner "--Principalities & powers, wickedness in heavenly places--", so be his people to the following whoever & whereever , even them in catholic names like the 5th. column as stated, against life to the freefall, in the Abyss.

It is impossible for a dictatorship to manifest itself in a society where a good portion of the population want a moral society.
