Measles outbreak in Western Europe has dire consequences

Outbreak especially virulent in France

There has been an especially virulent outbreak of measles in Western Europe. The outbreak has hit the nation of France especially hard, with six of the nine death attributable to the disease taking place there. Of the 26,000 reported measles cases in 36 European countries from January to October 2011, 83 percent have occurred in Western Europe, which is supposed to have world-leading public health services.

Nine in every ten measles cases in Europe have occurred in adolescent and adult individuals who had either not been vaccinated, or their vaccination status was unknown.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - The World Health Organization Europe has issued a stern warning to nations, saying that the ever-growing measles outbreaks pose a "serious public health (threat) with economic implications."

In a recent report, WHO Europe says that European nations must take effective, prompt preventive action to combat measles transmission during the approaching winter months.

Europe's high season for measles is generally from February until the end of May, with 14,000 of the reported cases occurring in France. So far, there have been 7,288 hospitalizations due to measles.

"The increase in measles in European countries reveals a serious challenge to achieving the regional measles elimination goal by 2015," Zsuzsanna Jakab, WHO Regional Director for Europe says. "Every country in the European Region must take the opportunity now to raise coverage amongst susceptible populations, improve surveillance and severely reduce measles virus circulation before the approaching measles high season."

"A substantial commitment is needed and should involve all stakeholders, especially health professionals who have a decisive role to play in helping parents make informative decisions regarding vaccination."

Western Europe has now become one of the three measles hotspots worldwide. The Democratic Republic of Congo, which has over 100,000 reported cases so far this year. Nigeria lists over 15,000 cases. In addition, the nation of Somalia has at least another 15,000.

Since air travel is commonplace, a regional outbreak of a very contagious disease affects other regions. The European outbreak has been the cause of reported measles cases in the United States, Canada, Australia, Brazil and South-East Asia. The U.S. says that 2011 has had more reported cases than in any year since 1996.

    Steve,
Not many residents of the U.S. are aware that Dr. Wakefield's colleague and fellow-researcher, Dr. Walker-Smith, on the Lancet study, for which they were lynched and lost their license, won his lawsuit against the GMC and was completely exonerated. The judge, Sir John Mitting, delayed judgment for a few weeks so he could investigate the case further, but finally declared that there had been no fraud, that the children had been appropriately treated for their severe medical condition, that the GMC had acted culpably, used shallow reasoning to reach false conclusions. He reprimanded it and decreed that a legal representative be included in such disciplinary proceedings in the future, to prevent such abuse from recurring. He restored Dr. Walker-Smith's license. Dr. Wakefield could not afford to bring suit at that time, as his insurance wouldn't cover it, but his lawsuit in Austin in pending. This exoneration has not been covered in the U.S. at all, but fairness dictates that it be looked up and taken into account. These worthy doctors were torn to pieces for daring to point out what tens of thousands of parents have since observed in their own children, that numerous children develop autism and bowel disease within days or weeks of getting the MMR.

I think we should let measles come back. I had it when I was six, at that time nearly all children did, and it wasn't that bad. It evolved over centuries in Western countries from being a killer disease to being a mild, routine disease of childhood. It was still considered mild in the '80s, until the vaccine companies took control of the discourse.
My daughter was given the hep-B vaccine at birth in the hospital (though I had said I didn't want her to get it). She reacted with four days and nights of non-stop screaming, vaccine-induced encephalitis, and she was later diagnosed with autism. Missouri school nurse Patti White testified before a subcongressional committee in May 1999 that she and her organization of school nurses were convinced that the hep-B vaccine had caused the sudden deluge of autistic children in Missouri public schools in the late '90s (hep-B at birth started in 1991). The committee found that the vaccine was so dangerous that it recommended a moratorium be placed on its use, but even so, a year later it was given to my daughter without even asking permission. Millions of children have developed autism and/or bowel disease from the MMR which prevents measles, mumps, and rubella, all usually harmless diseases. Wakefield's study was not debunked, but instead was bolstered just last month by an article in the British journal Nature which supported his research and conclusions. Wakefield is a hero in my eyes for refusing to be intimidated by Big Pharma into silence. He continues to fight for vaccine-damaged families like mine. Jenny McCarthy is probably as happy as I that this measles outbreak means that many people will develop permanent immunity and a stronger immune system from overcoming the disease naturally. The autism rate has gone from one in 10,000 thirty years ago to one in 88 now, one in 48 boys. The increase has moved in absolute tandem with the increase in the numbers of mandated vaccines. Each autistic person will eventualy cost the government millions of dollars a piece to support, which may get the attention of those who don't seem to care about the immense tragedy of crippling so many chidren initially healthy and with their lives before them before being damaged by vaccines.
God gave us a miraculously intricate, complex, and efficient immune system. There is no reason to believe that He supports confusing it into inappropriate excessive inflammatory and autoimmune responses by injecting vaccines into it, filled with weakened or live microbes and chemicals like aluminum and formaldehyde, as well as fragments of aborted babies (diploid cells), animal cells, and random foreign protein and sugar particles.

The medical doctor in England, who intentionally submitted false data in an article which appeared in the journal Lancet several years ago indicating the MMR vaccine as
a cause for autism, should be horrified to read this article. He, more than anyone else, even Jenny McCarthy, has done more to cause this spread of measles. I hope and pray that people wake up and get their children vaccinated for all preventable diseases. Read reliable information on vaccines and if you still have questions, discuss your questions with your local doctor. If your reason for not vaccinating is religious, talk to your priest. Vaccines do not cause autism or any other disorder. Vaccines simply protect individuals from different diseases.
